THE STRING THEORY OR THE BIG SHEEP
« on: September 10, 2006, 12:18:02 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, you can now explain The String Theory, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're trying to find The Big Sheep, for reasons they won't say.

I forgot that we had a riotous discussion about Kathryn Kuhlman (I believe-uh in miraclezzzzz), and we said the following quite often:

And now - Dino at the piano.

Wow!  That's pretty cool!  Do you know how to play it??  Or do you know someone who does?  Or does it really matter? ;)

This is weird!  On the main page (http://www.haineshisway.com/community/index.php) under "HHW Community Forum - Info Center," it lists Calendar Today and under that is "Birthdays: Donna."  You can click on her name and go to her profile.

HOWEVER, below that is the "Todays Birthdays" heading and then it says "Birthdays" then "Join us in wishing a happy birthday to Donna" and when you click on her name there, you get (well, I got) this message:

An Error Has Occurred!
The user whose profile you are trying to view does not exist. -- Donna

What gives??

I have to work concessions again today at noon for another performance of "Wrinkles of Washington."   Yesterday's concession selling went well, except that I (as one of the new volunteer head concessionaires ::)) didn't make more coffee during the first act for the intermission! :o We ran out of regular coffee. :P We also ran out of cookies, but that was because we couldn't put them all out since they had three more performances to get through and they wanted to at least have a certain amount for each performance.  For today, however, I'll make enough coffee.  Since it's donated, it doesn't matter (too much) if I make too much. ;)

Good morning, all!  It sounds as if our DR Donna is getting ready to play Sartre's KEAN.[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY FELICITATIONS TO DR DONNA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[/move]
I have to be at Toyland early today, hence my getting up at 6:30 AM:  Josh Clayton, the MD for Brad Ross' LITTLE BY LITTLE, is coming by for the band parts at 9 AM, Andy Monroe is coming by to drop off a new piece of music for THE TRAGIC & HORRIBLE . . ., and there will be hopefully waiting for me a ton of new scores for LADY OF THE SLIPPER.

I have no more to post and, God knows, nothing to say.

And the word of the day is: TAUROMACHY!
Senorita Margarita Alphonsa Carmen Electra Sophia del Quanto Quanto cluched her bosom and cried out "Oh, Senor Bullfighter, with your cleft chin and your sensuous thighs, you who have excited me so!  I THROW MY CHARM at you as you perform your TAUROMACHY!"  Sadly, her aim was a little too good, and her charm bracelet hit him directly between the eyes, stunning him and giving the bull the advantage.

Hey can those who follow PROJECT RUNWAY please either include spoiler space. Or at least put the title in caps before you start discussing the finalists.  It is just starting to air here. And i've noticed quite a few posts in the last few days just blurting out info. Thanks.

Good morning, Jennifer!

I must get ready for work.  Otherwise, I'd stick around.

Sunday....work day.  Oh well.

What a wonderful party it was....or rather what a swell party that was.  I think water into wine was a trick someone else pulled years ago...but the wine into water sounds pretty funny.

Happy Birthday, DR DONNA.

Now and then TBN shows some old tapes of Kathryn Kuhlman - some individual sermons and some revival type meetings.  I always stop to watch.  Ruth Buzzi used to do an UNCANNY imitation of KK.

Good morning!

I got up before 8 a.m. this morning and mowed my front lawn. I have an electric lawnmower which is much quieter than a gas mower, but I may have irritated a few neighbors. I guess I'll find out later.

It was just so cool this morning, and I needed to get it done. We're going to have hot, humid conditions later today, and I didn't want to mow in that kind of weather.

The conclusion of THIRD MAN OUT, then TWO FOR THE ROAD, and then probably WALLACE AND GROMIT: THE CURSE OF THE WERERABBIT. That will more than likely be my lineup for today's viewing.

HBO is showing the broadcast premiere of FANTASTIC FOUR tonight. I know it got bad reviews, but I may give it a try (or record it for later). There is nothing else on TV tonight that I'm interested in.

I saw PLAYTIME in a film course I took in the late 70s, early 80s, and I 've never seen it since. I am very anxious to see it again as I like Tati very much.
