Jane, I just finished another great Arthurian Trilogy by Bernard Cornwell (author of the Sharpe series): The Winter King; The Enemy of God; and Excalibur.  I think I liked these better than Mists.  But both of these keep Arthur pagan, which works betters for me than when the Arthurian legend is layered with all that moralizing Christianity.

I’ve just added them to my list of books to purchase, though at the rate I’m going I think it might take me a year to get through the first trilogy.

I like the Paganism in Mists-makes for an intriguing read.

The new look me! For recognition purposes.  Conveniently I had to "narrow" the photo so that I look a tad less heavy!

Hi Cillaliz.

I was on the phone talking to a dog trainer, tomorrow morning we are checking out her puppy kindergarten class.  I told her how I refused to do a few things in Echo's class, during her teen years.  It turns out I was right not to listen to the trainer. :)

DR Pogue... I am a big fan of Bernard Cornwell's.  I love the Sharpe books.. have you read his RedCoat or Stonehenge?

I had not heard of the trilogy you just mentioned but I shall seek them out.

The photo is from our school production of Carousel in my freshman year of high school.  The flowers were a gift from an adoring fan.

I ended up taking the position offered at my old internship.  Tuesday will be my first official day at the office.  Tomorrow I'll be taking part in a day long orientation that's at a completely different location.  Sadly I'll only be getting 2 of my 4 original cases back.  One was hospitalized the weekend before I left and is now in a different program, the other is comfortably ensconced with another therapist.  It can be hard to "juggle" the cases and with one therapist leaving and 4 or 5 new interns coming aboard for the year they were limited in how they could assign my cases.  Fortunately though I'll still be able to see him around campus.
