What I find particularly interesting is that the Monster will be played by Shuler Hensley.

Awwwww...and he's a Marietta boy, grew up about a mile from my house, here in Georgia!

Evening all.  Just a quick hello.  I hope that DR Elmore had a grand time on his birthday.

My, but this seems to be a very popular time of year to be born!  I had a special friend whose birthday is today but since we don't talk anymore there is no sense in wishing him a Happy Birthday.

It was really raining this morning!  We had to take another way to work and we were very late.  Oh well.

I received an interesting email at work today.  It seems another department has a new job opening and the guy who will be it's supervisor wanted to know why I hadn't applied for it.

It's more money but I'm not sure I would like it there.  I've heard bad things about that section.  I may just put in for the job for heck of it--he might not even pick me.  But if he does then I'm not sure what I'll do.....

Three newborn babies given accidental overdoses of a blood clotting medicine at a local hospital.

Three newborn babies who will not be going home with their families.  Sad, sad, sad.

I'm told the book website will be up shortly.  Of course, I thought it would be up yesterday - I'm hoping before I leave for LACC that the site will be up and running and that everyone here will be up and running to order their copies.  The first fifty people who order will receive a little something special with or in their copies.

Will they be hand-delivered by Kevin Spirtas?

WRTV Channel Six....formerly WFBM Channel Six (home station of Frances Farmer Presents from 1958-64) - lets the public vote online for the TOP FIVE stories of the day and present them on air in that order.

Frances Farmer Presents was the Number One local television show in its slot for its entire run - against cartoons, another movie, AND the Mickey Mouse Club.  Frances was fired in September, 1964.  In the "history" of the station FROM CRYSTAL TO COLOR published in 1965, Frances and her program were NOT even mentioned.

Howard Caldwell, longtime newscaster at WFBM, has stated many times that Channel Six News was number one and remained number one for years because of the audience lead-in delivered by FFP.

A Frances Farmer many of you may not be familiar with.

My friend Marika who grew up on Park Avenue in Indy, just down the street from Frances, said that on Halloween, Frances always dressed up like a witch all in black with a hat and gave out the BEST candy on the street!   8)

Shortly I shall be on my way to LACC to set keys for three songs (I'm hoping they're fine where they are), then shall return for the reading.  Keep the home fries burning until my returning for which I know you'll be yearning, and keep them orders coming in!

My TV guide doesn't show a NEW Pwoject Wunway either....what's up?

Maybe Bravo didn't want the show to face up against the season premieres of so many network shows.

So, no new PROJECT RUNWAY tonight? I glanced at the cable guide and the episode for 10 p.m. said "Black and White" which was last week's episode.

Is this right?

Tonight's episode of PROJECT RUNWAY is supposed to be ON THIN ICE.

I can't believe I posted something regarding any reality show other than DANCING WITH THE STARS!!

Perhaps, I have spent too much time on this site?
[/i]

But since I am posting, I do think this was a very good career move for Joe(y) Lawrence.  Following in the pattern of Drew Lachey, I believe that Mr. Lawrence could really revive his career; or at least earn himself a job in the next touring company of ANNIE.[/size]

Are any of the New Yorkers here going to attend the BROADWAY FLEA MARKET AND GRAND AUCTION on Sunday?

Hmm, the leather wrist band worn by Kevin Kline in MOTHER COURAGE.  Now that is my kind of Broadway souvenir!!!

Good Afternoon!

Back to DC... Back to work...

We had our first understudy rehearsal for Cabaret this afternoon.  It went very well.  We basically did a run-through of the show just to see where everyone is in their readiness, and, I have to say, everyone seems pretty ready to go on should the need arise.  After the run, we did some solo work on the musical numbers, and tomorrow will be a dance day.  And then...  We may just end up having one more u/s rehearsal next week, and then just have the required put-in rehearsal should someone need to go on as the run of the show progresses.  So...

DR TCB - First of all...

If you do want to bid on Kevin Kline's costume piece, I believe BC/EFA is taking bids online this year for certain items.  Who knows?  You could be the proud owner of a sweaty'd piece of leather.  ;)

Secondly...  As for for you PM... ;D
