Well, you've read the notes, the notes were ebullient and ebullient and now it is time for you to post until the ebullient cows come home - they'll be here just as soon as they get their heads screwed on straight.

"PANDICULATION" is a word that is not available in the free Merriam-Webster On-line Dictionary.  How rude!

It is found on dictionary.com without having to pay anything. :)

It's the act of stretching oneself...a stretching and stiffening especially of the trunk and extremities (as when fatigued and drowsy or after waking from sleep).

Why would anyone need to pay for that definition??

And now, I must sleep so that in the morning I may pandiculate when I wake.

TOD:

I don't remember his name, but I believe it was a Warner Bros. Cartoon. He was a buzzard who elevator didn't go to the top floor.

Least favorites. Road Runner and Will E Cayote and Tpm and Jerry. Same basic premise. One chases the other. The one never catches the other (Most of the time in Tom & Jerry). A few are okay but more than that they are not memorable.

But my absolute favorite is:
One Froggy Night (?)
The frog that sings and dances only for the person who finds him.

And the word of the day is: PANDICULATION!
Casey would waltz
With a strawberry blonde
For hours on end
Calling for the band to take a seventh-inning PANDICULATION.

Yep, the Prisoner is way up there in fave series.

Nope, I don't drink coffee.  I'd turn into Hammy if I did (an Over the Hedge reference).

TOD:

I have always loved, and always will love, the late, great Chuck Jones.  He raised the standard stable of Termite Terrace characters to glorifying new heights.  Remember Bugs discovering that he was his own worst enemy in "Baton Bunny"?  Fantastic.  And I happen to love the Road Runner cartoons!  I also love what he did with Tom and Jerry when he left Warners (well, when Warners shut down their animation unit).

But Pepe le Pew has always left me cold.  Don't know why.

I'm up, since 3:30... can't sleep. Just sittin' here, pandiculating and trying to find something on the ol' snooze box... nothin'. None of those great old cartoons... Remember the opera cartoon? Loved that. "Kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit!" to Wagner!!!

Well, hello to the East Coasters who might be rising soon... So much homework this week, but I have the jump on it. Because I don't sleep!! Gonna go back to bed and try to nap for another 2 hours... long day ahead.

And I'm SO looking forward to BRAIN... (Brain? What is "brain"? - from "Spock's Brain" - a Star Trek reference... ps - my cousin Sheila was in that one.)

What great Portland photos.  Thanks DR TOMovOZ!

So glad to hear the party (and all else) went well yesterday.  I am expecting by Wednesday - ASK BK DAY - that all of the activity will catch up with our fearless leader.

I am beginning to see the light - RE: HEROES - as well.  But there are still more questions than answers.  And though the show probably owes its existence to LOST, I think I like it better.

Hmmmm.....well IF I must choose one character, it would be Bugs Bunny.  And I have a couple of favorites:

What's Opera, Doc?
Little Red Riding Rabbit
Hyde and Hare

and whatever the title of the one where he was shot to the moon and met the character that became Marvin the Martian.
