And since I didn't make it to my friend Jeff's house on Sunday to complete his HDTV installation tweaks, I'm doing that early this evening. He's also getting my used DVDs of SOUTH PACIFIC, THE KING & I, and CAROUSEL.

Rodzinksi, what was that Japanese-like album cover you showed the other day? The one with the blonde gal, I think it was.

I've got HE'S A BULLY, CHARLIE BROWN to watch today, a Peabuts special that was new last night...

I am totally unfamiliar with "Peabuts".

I know.

I know.

I think I am going to....and see if we can't firm up deatils

As DR Vixmom might be wont to say:  "Deatils, deatils, deatils..."

TOD:

I love so many window , but I can agree that "1776" is one of the most memorable ever.  Ditto "On the Twentieth Century" with its art deco design and the generous use of mylar!

I have both those window cards (originals)...along with "Mack and Mabel", "Dreamgirls," "Annie" (original and awards window cards), "Cabaret" (Tony window card), The Chelsea "Candide", "Dear World," "Woman of the Year," "A Little Night Music", "Company," "Sweeney Todd," and "Into the Woods" among many others.  I also have reproductions of several window cards and posters I've found it nearly impossible to find originals of, including "The Music Man," "Follies" and "My Fair Lady."

Joey Ramone! And that must be the lobby of a certain music video channel off of Hwy. 85. Though I am just intuiting that last part. I don't actually recognize it!

MBarnum-
You took a photo of that LP when you were out this way. I don't actually know the name of the album or anything. It is extreme easy listening, from Korea I think. There is only one song with an English title: "X+Y=Love"

We're very wide, aren't we?  If someone can resize edisaurus' pic, we'll be fine.

Re Here On Earth - yes, it's from The Brain - song number two and ironically the second song I wrote after the title song.  It's a really important song because it makes our little cartoon play real in a way.  It has some heart, which I felt was really important.  At the reading it worked like a dream because it made people really like the character who sings it and it also got chuckles exactly when it should have.  It's my favorite kind of song to write - one that's hopefully pretty but that makes you smile, too.

As to taping, I would love to have it professionally taped and while it doesn't cost all that much, really, I can't personally afford to do it - if I was being paid for the show I'd use that dough, but I'm not.  We'll see what happens.  And if it were to be released on DVD, I'd have to get waivers from the cast, which I'm sure they'd do.

I thought it looked familiar. I think it is one I should have listened to as it evidently intrigues me.

re: claire's (cheerleader) friend zach being gay.

I have been reading the televisionwithoutpity forum for HEROES and they seem to think zach is gay.  It actually never occured to me. I thought he had a crush on claire.

I wonder if they are changing direction with the character and making him gay?  Or maybe that is what they were thinking all along.

I think it is interesting that we will see what everyone was doing 6 months before. Although does that mean that none of them had realized their powers? Might not be too exciting powerwise.

Re: last night's show, did anybody else wonder why Hiro did not show up at the Homecoming? I had been expecting he would (and there was a painting of him and his friend there).

How about a cast recording? )Obviously I am completely ignorant about the costs of producing such a thing)

Sorry to hear about Robert Altman.

DH Richard has survived his elaborate dental procedure and is now home enjoying some ice cream.

Well my FAVORITE would have to be the original A CHORUS LINE....

I like the NEW one - but the original is my favorite.  I also like many of those already mentioned including DREAMGIRLS and WEST SIDE STORY.

Favorites (that have already been mentioned) are:

1776
City of Angels
Follies
Into the Woods
A Little Night Music
On the Twentieth Century
Sweeney Todd

I'll actually have to think (don't you hate it when that happens ;)) if I want to mention some that haven't already been mentioned. ::)
