I'm heading off to bed now. Only got 7 hours of sleep during each of the past two nights, and I need more.

Good night!

Is that, Paris' answer to Rice-a-Roni?

For our Kitty fans:

Pet Your Cat, Get Schizophrenia?
Quote
Friday, Dec. 1, 2006

The next time you pet a cat, you could be taking the first step toward developing schizophrenia.

So says Dr. E. Fuller Torrey, M.D., associate director for laboratory research at the Stanley Medical Research Institute in Maryland.

It's long been suspected that schizophrenia could be caused by an infectious agent that affects the brain's neurotransmitters.

The jury is still out on that in the medical community. But the infectious agent currently thought to be the most likely culprit in leading to schizophrenia is Toxoplasma gondii, a protozoan parasite.

"Its definitive host is the cat, which is unaffected by the parasite," Dr. Torrey, co-author of the book "Beasts of the Earth: Animals, Humans, and Disease," writes in Forbes magazine.

Humans can become infected by the parasite by inhaling the cysts from cat feces in a litter box. It can also be contracted from contaminated water or undercooked meat from a pig, lamb or other animal that has been infected.

I'm playing with my new IE7 tonight. Not sure if I like it better, I was really used to the old format.  I wasn't sure about downloading it, but I set a restore point and so far so good

I have mixed opinions about IE7... I have a really old monitor and sometimes has issue with the display of some websites.

It reminds me in someways of OPERA that we use at work.
