Actually, that's what people have been saying today.  I don't remember the exact stats, but it was something like Phil having not seen his shadow only four times during his first eighty years as the official Groundhog, and then not seeing it eleven times during the past twenty years.

Happiness is a warm groundhog. Served cold.

Back from lunch.  Had a salad and fish 'n chips.  Fresh fish.  Really tasty.  Malt vinegar, to boot.

Oh, Tom....are you a Carly Simon fan?

I've recently obtained "Moonlight Serenade" and I've just ordered her DVD "Moonlight Serenade: Live on the Queen Mary 2."

We were all afraid you'd been swept off to Oz in a cyclone.

There are worse places than OZ.

I went on a tear and cleaned the CD closet and now I am running late and I must hie myself to LACC to see various and sundried one-acts.

This day isn't moving as quickly as I'd hoped it would.

The past hour has been an eternity.

If I can make it till 3 p.m., I'm good to go.

Otherwise, I'm gonna be miserable.

And yes, there's not much going on here today.

So...BAM...y'all are IT!

So...you keep 'em in a closet.  That's the ticket.  By "cleaned", I'm guessing you mean put away, dusted, straightened.

No sign of the word "out" after "cleaned".

Lord, I see little one-acts played out several times a week here at work and, sometimes, on the streets of Oakland.

Most involve little hissy fits...but they're high drama, nonetheless.

I don't know why it amazes me that Elaine Stritch was only in her 40's when she first sang "Ladies Who Lunch" and Yvonne de Carlo was only in her 40's when she first sang "I'm Still Here."

Yes Ron.  "Torch" is one of my all time favourite CDs. "Film Noir" and "My Romance" are also wonderful. "Anthology" is an excellent collection.  I did find the Christmas Album a tad disappointing.

In a particularly fallow time in pop music (mid to late '80s) we had a popstar Pebbles here in the states who had a hit "Mercedes Boy"

Yes Ron.  "Torch" is one of my all time favourite CDs. "Film Noir" and "My Romance" are also wonderful.

"Film Noir", with arrangements by Van Dyke Parks, who also conducted.

I'd rather hear her sing "In the Wee Small Hours..." than anyone else.

It's a coldish day in our offices.  I see the sun has finally weasled its way through the fog/cloud layer...just in time to be consumed by the newly arriving fog layer.

But my footses are a bit chilly.

OH, I remember as song that they sang on The Flintstones that I absolutely loved when I was a kid...I wonder if it was one of those?
