DR CASON - Bookopoly is a fascinating and fun game that beats Monopoly by several miles.....unless you are playing with someone who never read a book.

Well, Heather and I are voracious and avid readers, so I'm hoping it should be too painful...

Hot dog, I'm excited now - especially since it got your stamp of approval!

I have not read any comments about last night's IDOL. But here are my thoughts:

The only woman i really love is lakisha. I really enjoyed her again last night.

I do like melinda. But even though i think her timidity can be charming, there is something about it that sometimes puts me off a bit.  But she was very good last night.

I really cannot stand antonella at all.

Although i think haley, leslie or alaina will be the ones to go. I actually agree with the judge who liked the beginning acapella part of leslie's song. I wish so much the rest had been like that.

For some reason i do not like gina. And while jordan has a nice voice, i just don't really gel with her personality.

I think stephanie is so polished and always comes across so mature.

And i do like sabrina's power.

As for last night's LOST:

SPOILERS.

Again i have not read any comments here yet.

I did like the show. Although probably not as much as most episodes.

I thought some of hurley's backstory was predictable and not that interesting. And the car stuff on the island, while slightly amusing really was not all that interesting.

For me the show only really got interesting in the last 5 minutes. Seeing kate and locke and sayid and then meeting the french woman. Now that was interesting. I wish that had been the focus of the show.

Thursday morning greetings!

TOD - As a librarian, How can I never have heard of Bookopoly?

Now that I have that out of my system...

Board Games:  I also loved Careers (which I still have) and Barbie:  Queen of the Prom (which I'm thinking of trying to sell, along with all my other Barbie stuff).

Card Games:  My family played a form of rummy called Liverpool, which sounds kind of like the game DR George described.  Also, Spite & Malice, which I've totally forgotten how to play.

The worst of last night's Idol performances, to me, were:

Antonella, Alaina, Haley and Sabrina.

Melinda, Lakisha and Gina were the three best, in that order.

Jordin, Leslie and Stephanie were in the middle for me.  I like Stephanie but I HATED her song choice and delivery.  I couldn't understand most of the lyrics, so thrown away and off-kilter did they seem to me.

Antonella and Alaina would be GREAT choices to leave tonight.

My cousins, Molly and Bobby, and I and my little brother would often play Monopoly on Saturday nights while watching the evening monster movies while our parents were playing cards.

Aggravation, Sorry, Operation, Parcheesi, Battleship, Chinese Checkers, 21, Password, and Connect 4 were other favorites as a kid.

As as teen I would often play Uno with my best friend Dave and his parents.

As an adult I have enjoyed many card games...however, I forget how to play them and end up needing instruction each and every time.

Bookworm is the only computer game I have played....and as we all know, it is most addicting!

Beautiful blue skies outside (as opposed to inside).  I've read through my various and sundried e-mails.  My pressing plant person will be here at nine to pick up the Shire master, and so we're on track for a two-week turnaround or sooner.

DR Cason, if Heather does not currently reside in Los Angeles, does that mean that she did not get to see THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X?

Yes. RELAX.

Smile.

Slow down.

Remember it's not the end of the world.

I like to invite questions DURING the presentation, not just at the end, whenever feasible.

If you lived closer, DR DAKOTA CELT, I'd be happy to coach you. Online it's a little tougher! Just relax and you'll be fine.

Today is the day of the year in which I journey in my automobile to the heim of anA to attend the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress (recongress.org) an event I do each year.  It's a fantastic weekend and quite the energy booster for another year of teaching and ministering.  I'll be leaving in a few hours and one of the first things on my drive (6+ hours) will be to listen to "The Brain From Planet X"  it's all very exciting.

But now, laundry....

It sounds very J.R.R. Tolkien.

I very much wished Peter Jackson would hire David Shire to score his "LOTR" trilogy.

It just seemed fittin'...
