Good day to HHW!
Haven't caught up on the posts yet, but will reply to SINGDAW from yesterday regarding Leonard Bernstein's YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONCERTS:
I'm really enjoying the series. The name of the series is a misnomer--they were designed for kids, of course, but Bernstein assumes a very great deal from such young people. I find that the series works on many levels. I've been listening to classical music for 25 years or more, listen to it daily, etc, and I'm learning a great deal. I usually watch each lecture/concert twice. There's a book, too--did you know that? I haven't seen it, but it's available on Amazon.
And thanks again to DR ELMORE and DR JOSE for recommending the series to me (and to other DRs as well who made such fine recommendations).
