DR edisaurus - Something you may - or may not want to know - about AVENUE Q right now... Apparently, whatever bug that is making the rounds here in New York City - especially among people working in usually inadequately ventilated and poorly temperature-controlled "closed environments" - has struck the residents of The Golden big time over the past week. In fact, there were two nights last week where the whole company onstage was composed of stand-bys and understudies. -And there was one night where they almost had to cancel the show since almost everyone called in sick and/or the stage manager almost had to go on. So... It may be another week or two before things at The Golden - and every other theatre in town - get back to "normal".
What I'd suggest is just to check on tickets when you get into town. By that time, the house row and the "premium seats" - if still available - may have been released. *Although, the premium seats for the matinees of Avenue Q are only $50.00 more than the regularly priced seats, so... But I'll still check availability for you.
