After defining whip, can you use it in a sentence?

Hi dear FJL....not sure I could give you a definition, but I found this picture that looked like "a perfect dinner date."  ;)   Maybe he could help with a definition for you.......

OK...a little scared now.

During my lunch, I went to see the hair stylist, and despite everyone's best advice, I said, "Surprise me!"

So now I've got new "product" to deal with...a delightful concoction called defining whip, which was described to be as something in between a cream and a mousse.

Oh, boy...    :-\

;D ....You're so easy....I've got a jar of Miracle Whip or a tub of Cool Whip that I'll sell ya cheap (makes the hair a bit sticky, but guaranteed to keep it in place...) ....

My TIVO doesn't know from Lost, but it's been recording SOMETHING and I must find out what.
Elmore's favorite video tapes, perhaps?

I just finished picking about 7 pounds of beautiful apricots (variety - "Katy") , and tomorrow they shall be transformed into wonderfully delicious, homemade apricot jam.  Yuuuuuummmmm !!!

I do like toast and jam, DR MusicGuy.

Good morning, all!  I've finally begun reading all of the Farley Granger bio and I'm nearly finished.  I liked the FIRST IMPRESSIONS gossip, but the whole book is a lot of fun.  I was up too late reading about his touring with Eva LeGallienne's National Rep in the 1960s.  They played in Cincinnati and I wish I'd seen a performance of THE SEAGULL or RING ROUND THE MOON.

About 15 or 20 years ago I did a production of RING ROUND THE MOON (Yes, Mr. Barnum they had plays way back then).  The audiences adored the production; however we had so many cast changes, director changes, blocking changes, and in-fighting among the cast that we hated every minute of the production.  To this day, everyone involved refers to it as RING ROUND THE TOILET.

One of the song lyrics, primarily.

I've possibly been a bit too sensitive about this....but when, as a kid, you heard "Fatty, Fatty two-by-four, can't get through the bathroom door" one too many times...well.....

And, of course, I have BECKET potentially arriving today in the mail. Right now, I have it slated to be my Saturday evening film of choice.

Don't forget everyone, that there is a HEROES Marathon on Saturday starting at 9 a.m..  I believe that it is on BRAVO.  They are showing every episode except the last one.

And speaking of season finales, I am still  waiting for some DF or DR to PM me with what happened last Friday on GHOST WHISPERER.  Thank you!

I've got pork loin thawed, but have no ideas for what to make for dinner.   :-\

Mr. Nick Redman has come and gone, and brought me Georges Delerue's A Walk With Love And Death CD, Lalo Schifrin's The Enforcer CD, and the Tryone Power DVD box set.

Good Afternoon!

Well...

I arrived at the rehearsal studio at 9:30.  We started with the coaching at 9:45.  The auditions proper started right at 10:30.  At 11:05, I heard,  "Thank You, Jose."

-What?

"We're done for the day."

Even the reader was caught off guard that we were finished so early.

So, since the sun was out, I took a nice walk through midtown up to Columbus Circle. I stopped into Whole Foods, picked up some groceries - great sale this week on Organic Mesclun mix! - then hopped on the D Train back home.

I've had my lunch - some of the leftover "Szechuan Wonton Sandwich" - and now I'm re-watching Tuesday night's "Idol" with one of my roomies.

Nothing like some unexpected free hours - and on the clock too!  :)

How much money did you make coming back uptown?

Featuring the last performance of Frances Farmer before the "lost years."  But can you spot Cobina Wright in the master shots?

A husband and wife were new to America and out of money. In desperation, the husband sends his wife out on the street to turn tricks for money. She comes back two hours later. "How much money did you make," he asks. "Fifty dollars and ten cents," she replies. "Who paid you ten cents," the man asked incredulously. She replied, "They ALL did."

AH!  That's basically the joke I was thinking about.

-Strangely enough, I heard it from my junior year English teacher.  In high school.  In class.
