Growing up in a rather poor family (divorced mother, school teacher) this was what most of the book covers looked like for me.  I learned to pick a lot of books based on the title, because... you can't judge a book by its cover.

However this book cover, combined with the title, made The Shipkiller an attractive book to me.

I hearby say....

If one is going to run around with the pool set, and my towel gets wet due to the high pressure situation the murder of your dry towel will justify the need of the woman who runs with the poolset not getting her way.

So the kids bring her back to life. And she is lying there.

And then she remarks that she thought the kids were being gathered together so she could save them, when in fact they were gathered together to save her! This is the strongest recognition given that there are celestial forces on both sides (Good/Evil, Black/White) swirling about Melinda and influencing her life.

I shall fulfill BK's expectations and go lie on the sands and bathe in the moonlight (one can say "I shall go sun myself" - but what if I should say "I shall go moon myself"?)
