I COULD WRITE A BOOK

Well, you've read the notes, the notes noteworthy, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they've been asked to write a book, and they are - it's called When The Cows Come Home by The Cows.

Hi, Danise! I'm up because one of the cats just crashed landed on the piano. That's a new way of getting me up for their 5 oclock treat.

How are things going with Mom?

Hi Edisaurus,

Mom is still with us.  I thought she was going to leave us there.  Her fingers and mouth were turning grey but now they are back to normal color and the nurse said that she could last up to a week like this.

I don't know what to hope for.  I have got to go home at some point and check on the poor dogs.  I haven't been home since Sunday and I have to get  the mail out of the box.  I wasn't planning on being gone this long.

I don't know what to do.

I have those 2 ten pound dry dog feeders in the house and I don't think they could eat all of that but since I've never left them with that much food before, I'm not sure.

They should also have lots of water but I'd like to give them some fresh.

I may try to make a quick run home this morning.

Excellent vibes to BK for his important lunch.  It is about time that you asked Leslie Parrish to marry you.

Obviously, without the draw of a big name like Ben (Get it, Big Ben?), the early morning group, gathering at HHW, has dwindled considerably.

Was it Woody Allen who said something to the effect of "I would not want to belong to any group that would have me as a member"?  :)

Well, it seems today's WOD can either mean "laughing loudly" OR "catching food in one's mouth."

Perhaps if bk does both simultaneously during his important lunch, it will have a positive effect?

BK, I loved the movie VENUS.  I admire Forrest Whitaker; but I was really hoping this year would be O'Toole's year for the Oscar.  I was tallying it up the other day; since moving back to Ky. I have been to the theatre to see live plays all over the place 45 times; I have been in a movie theatre only once -- that was to see VENUS.

There are just too many great book covers to single one out.  I have often bought a book just based on its cover.  I have lots of Rafael Sabatini swashbuckling covers; historical novel covers, mystery covers, adventure and fantasy covers...certainly the great Frank Frazetta covers of the Edgar Rice Burroughs paperbacks that came out in the sixties were stunning and sort of became a gauge for fantasy illustration right up to today.

Good morning, all!  I've finally begun reading all of the Farley Granger bio and I'm nearly finished.  I liked the FIRST IMPRESSIONS gossip, but the whole book is a lot of fun.  I was up too late reading about his touring with Eva LeGallienne's National Rep in the 1960s.  They played in Cincinnati and I wish I'd seen a performance of THE SEAGULL or RING ROUND THE MOON.

Today, I schlep some things down to Toyland and make another stop at the NYPL.  After my heavy partying last night, I will be glad to come home and veg out.

BK, Rodney Gilfry lives outside Los Angeles. I see in his 2007 calendar that he's doing a MERRY WIDOW in Dallas beginning on Nov 29, and I have no idea how long he will be there for rehearsals.  He's a wonderful guy, and he might be interested in performing at the benefit.  He and Jason are god friends; is Mr Graae going to appear?
