I'll bet BK's Mancini album is Waltel Branco's Tambem e Samba:

http://www.dustygroove.com/item.php?id=yp5r5x7572&ref=browse.php&refQ=kwfilter%3DMancini%26amp%3Bincl_oos%3D1%26amp%3Bincl_cs%3D1

A most delicious album indeed.

Last summer, the DP and I heard a reading of a new musical called Ball and Chain - basically a lesbian adventure that takes place in a bar called "Ball and Chain".  This is 3 1/2 hours of our life that we can't get back and we frequently remind each other of that.  Dreadful isn't even a start here....

I did see Lennon and The Mambo Kings in SF, and rather enjoyed The Mambo Kings however, I was bored to tears with Lennon.

And the word of the day is: CANDENT!
Leonard's musical CANDENT had a less than spectacular opening night - the power went out, and the players had to act by candle light.

Well I was surpised when the piano player was introduced as LANNY MYERS. Mr. Myers has worked with BK on over a dozwn albums including...Got to chat with him a bit after the show. He insisted that we met in LA and I am quite sure that we never met.

A very nice gentlemen.
Ah, but did he say he met you in a theatrical context?  You may have provided him with some very good memories indeed!!!   :o    ;D

Two other discs Myers worked on, that I've been enjoying quite a bit lately:
Laurie Beachman: The Andrew Lloyd Webber Album
and Laurie Beachman: No One Is Alone.

To include the filmed Stage shows:
...
Heathcliff  (which is even worse)
I never understood the appeal of that cartoon cat.

Garfield isn't worth the bother, either.

No, just bad lighting.

No one else is here at 7:40am so I'm bowl washing.

Later, Gaters.
I've found that bowl washing goes much easier when I simply put the bowl down on the floor.  I pick it up again five minutes later, and it looks sparkling clean!

Both Buster and Mikey are shedding their undercoats.  I find myself reaching over and pulling out tufts of buttfluff.  The stuff is amazingly soft.

Mikey never had this shedding problem until we moved here to Delaware.  It must have something to do with the climate.

Do any of our New Yorkers know where the mid-town Apple store is?  My mouse has a low battery.  My Mouse Has A Low Battery - that's the title of my next novel.

Had  a nice music rehearsal today - not much for me to do except answer questions, but our Joyce is so on the right page most of the time - she's already doing some unexpected and wonderful things.  Merrill ran her stuff, which went really well.

How can I see these fine friends from HHW?

Cillaliz is also a personal friend of Rubert’s.

I can’t imagine MAD MEN is better than WENN, or even that it as good.  And WENN was a hit when AMC decided to cancel the show.  It just disappeared off the face of AMC without a word.  Like THE PRTENDER, I’m still waiting to see the episodes that wrap up the cliff-hanger.
