I guess I'll head over to Fed Ex/Kinko's and get that out of the way.

Der B and Woody are on their way into the city. (I think they're on the bridge...)

They are asking about brunch and that Jose mentioned doing something at The Brooklyn Diner.

As they say in THE BRAIN, "Again?" Or are we thinking of the plans that transpired last night?

Ginny will be available after church but we can leave a message on her cell.

Good morning! Just sittin ghere, sucking caffeine and catching up - Cilla Liz, what lovely photos. Thanks for posting them.

Wow - 6th and final Brain... why had i thought there were only 5??? Anyhow, have a good one, a memorable one, a tech-screw-up-free one.

I might just take a little jaunt over to the Getty Garden today... feeling the need. The lushness of the Northwest is something I miss... but I got the word from Seattle friends that it has been raining quite a lot since I left a week ago, and even snowed up at the cabin two days ago. Yipes.

And yet, during my shows last week, I remembered every word of my 90-minute monologue, after more than two years. Go figure.

I must say, as an old Harry Browne fan, I'm interested in the Ron Paul stuff.

Good Morning!  Good Afternoon!

I'm up, I'm up... And I guess I slept in today, so I'm not sure I can make it down for brunch today even though I sort of suggested it.  ;)

So...

DR edisaurus, DerBrucer and SWW are currently waiting outside The Brooklyn Diner, and DR Ginny is on her way over.

Meanwhile...

DR vixmom and the vixter will be coming into Manhattan shortly to meet up with DR William Orr and his ever-lovin' Joe at a place to be determined.

So...

Maybe I'll just meet up with everyone before they go into Such Good Friends.  -With Levain Cookies in hand, of course.   -The Enabler never takes a day off.  ;D

Still waking up... Still waking up...  Still waking up...

We were surrounded by parties last night.  There was one with some pretty loud music on the other side of our backyard, and out front, there was an impromptu gathering and cookout across the street on the sidewalk.  -I kept smelling lighter fluid every now and then - and I could see the flicker of the flame-ups too.

The people behind us did turn off their music around 2:30, however, the gathering across the street didn't really stop until around 4:30.  They were loud, but at least they were happy - even when the police came by... Three times!  And some of those "guests" went ahead and gathered - loitered - on our side of the street in front of our apartment until around 5:00.

And that's why I'm still waking up.

DR Cillaliz - As for the "other photos", well... I think I was just asking Sam to see if I had any spinach caught in my teeth, that's all it was. ;D

Ah-ha!  It is PennyO's fault that we have had so much rain this last week.  Actually, I don't care about the rain.  I love Autumn.  There is nothing better on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon than to curl up with a good book, while the cats snuggle with me.

I have just hit the jackpot with good Bollywoods this weekend...last night I started a wonderful film titled SHAHEED UDDHAM SINGH, a Punjabi film about the titled Indian revolutionary who was executed by the British in 1940.

I am learning more and more about atrocities that the British inflicted on India during the time they controlled that country, in the case of this film the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh Massacre http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jallianwalla_Bagh_Massacre

Oh, and the musical numbers are very good!
