Good morning, all! I went to bed, opened a new book DESIGN FLAWS OF THE HUMAN CONDITION and laughed through the first five chapters. It's very funny, very New Yawk, and I think I will like this book quite a lot. Beginning it and sending off to Portland the finished David Burnham chart seem to be the only two things I feel went well yesterday.
I did indeed have weird dreams. Julie Andrews was in one of them nd I was high in a balcony watching her sing at some benefit, then I dreamed that I was working as a bagger in a supermarket and talking to Robert Kimball about a benefit to do the show and record JUBILEE when the Fat Conductor of Limited Talent and Limitless Ego showed up wearing a beard and raving about doing something with, probably butchering, Richard Rodgers' music.
Today: barber at 9:30, then Toyland, the NYPL, and perhaps I'll start the chart for Ashley Brown today.
Speculative fiction? TIME AND AGAIN by Jack Finney.
