BK, yesterday you wrote:
It is now eleven-thirty.  The last post prior to George's was made at nine o'clock.  STOP THE BLOODY WUSSBURGERING before I have to bitch-slap you people from here to eternity and hell and back.

Nuh 'uh...there was quite a bit of posting up until 10:14:05 pm.  This was the last post prior to mine:

And here's a picture of the robe that she was talking about...it's my Ghost of Christmas Present costume:

As for the Topic of the Day...

"Madame Sousatzka" - As a piano student of a somewhat eccentric - well, at least eclectic - pianist teacher in college, this movie is near and dear to me.  And since I also had a memory slip during my debut concerto performance with an orchestra, well... "Hmm... Oh... I like this passage sounds... Why did part of the orchestra just stop playing? OHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Terms of Endearment" - Although, I'd have to say that this is more the ensemble's movie rather than Miss MacLaine's.

A related bit of trivia:  The main rival to my high school was Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, VA, which is Shirley's and Warren's (I believe) alma mater also.

DR JoseSPiano - thanks for the theatre report, you busy bee, you!

You're welcome, DR singdaw - And to tell the truth, I'm REALLY tempted to see another show or attend another concert tonight.  I may just TKTS something since I haven't TKTS's anything in a while.  Although, standing room at The Met is also a possibility...

-Although, after just checking the Met's website, it appears they are dark tonight.  Hmm... ???

In any case, we shall see.

Re: The Possession Of Joel Delaney

Because of this film Shirley McLaine turned down The Exorcist. She didn't want to do two similar films back to back. So she decided to do her ill fated tv series Shirley's World and didn't make another film until 5 years later when she did The Turning Point.

Never really been a big Shirley McLaine fan but if I had to choose a few I would say Sweet Charity, Being There and perhaps Mrs. Winterbourne.

The rock band Later, Baby is very proud of their retro, SEROTINE recordings.  Their latest album proudly boasts on the cover that it is IN STERIO.

I went to Burbank High.  Ron Howard went to our cross-town rivals, Buroughs High.  Such was life in Burbank, CA.

My workday today doesn't start until two.

It doesn't end until ten-thirty.  P of the M.

I'm gonna get back to bed, and nap.

But the sun is shining, and our snow might melt.

Enjoyed seeing the photos of the costumed and bedecked DR JASON, hope he is enjoying his sojourn in the Mid West.

According to the schedule, I don't think I will able to see the show, everything is a bit far....but we shall see.

Well, my oatmeal bowl equivalent is clean and so am I ;), and now it's time for me to make my way into midtown for a day of auditions.  And a bit of practicing beforehand too - I packed some Bach, Beethoven and Debussy in my bag.  Hopefully, that won't be too high-brow for the rehearsal hall. ;)

Thanks, DR JoseSPiano!  Now that Ben's not at the office each morning, I miss his ritual washing of the bowl.  I mean, he still probably does it at home, but...

It's not the same!   :)
