Hmm... I wonder if it's time to call the Oregon State government and suggest that they start putting internet filters on their computers.

;D

What I want to know is when Dr. No's lair starting featuring live entertainment.

Had a very good night's sleep and am now ready to greet the day.  I think the sky is blue, although it looks a little brown, too.

I have something to add:  123 + 563 = 686.  Make of that what you will.

Trying to heat up the home - I don't keep the heat on when I'm sleeping, so when I get up it must be forty degrees in the home environment.

Listening to a sort of best of Caetano Veloso - it started off wonderfully but has devolved a bit as it went on.

In addition to the wonderful playing of Battista (the CD I talked about in the notes), the orchestrations and arrangements are by someone named Vince Mendoza, definitely more in the Ogerman mold than the Sebeskey or Gil Evans mold.  He's got several CDs of his own, all well thought of by people on amazon, so I'll keep my eyes open for some of those.

singdaw - Again, looking at the NYMF brochure's "NYMF Alumni Success Stories," they definitely would have included BRAIN's U.K. production if they had known about it when the glossy brochure went to press.  Two of the four international entries are presentations at other festivals, so the U.K. BRAIN would have been a feather in the international cap.

A little bit of tid:

DAILY FREE PRESS

In a news story Friday ("Spectrum holds Condom Olympics to educate on safe sex," page 3), it was incorrectly stated due to a reporting error that health and wellness educator Beth Grampetro and Tim Hegan, an ORL area director, said Fruit Roll-Ups are adequate protection against STDs. No health officials said or advocated this use at the Condom Olympics. The Daily Free Press apologizes for the confusion.

I am currently multi-tasking, attending a webinar that's taking place in Cleveland.  Right now they're talking about philanthropy in northeast Ohio...

Someone decided at this late time to adopt a family for Christmas, so I was shopping for a doll and a tea party set. These were not easy to find, as it seems toys now need batteries and make obnoxious noise.

DR Ron Pulliam, did you remember your camera? Take photos of the cemetery. Old cemeteries are swell places -- so peaceful. Is there a pond with ducks or geese?

When I was in college in Kansas, we used to sunbathe in the Pioneer Cemetary. Is that creepy? It never seemed like it at the time

I'd really be interested in a book about what life with 6 teenagers the same age is like. I can't imagine the hormone and teenage angst, drama, and stress those parents must deal with on a daily basis, and I think I could learn a lot from the Dilleys.
