I wonder if Gordon's ex singing partner Peter Asher is still producing CDs.

I tell ya, that psycho dad's gonna return!

No question about it. Will he end up killing Noah (by mistake)? That's the biggest question in my mind.

Cute story about Noel Coward at the London opening of the musical GONE WITH THE WIND, courtesy of musicals101.com:

When the opening night of the London musical Gone With the Wind was marred by an obnoxious child actress and a horse that relieved itself onstage, Coward was in the audience, and said:  "If they'd stuffed the child's head up the horse's arse, they would have solved two problems at once."

Gordon Waller's Pharoah

Is that a euphemism?

And for all those ignorami DRs (or is it ignoramoi of Greek derivation),
le source

Three of my all-time favorite classical pieces in fine performances, although I do love the Charles Munch recording on RCA, which is sonically amazing.  Milhaud (pronounced Meeyoh) is the berries.

UPDATE:  Hmmm, the photo of the album cover didn't come across with the post I was quoting - I'm speaking of the Darius Milhaud CD elmore posted the cover of back on page seven.

I have Xeroxed, I have delivered pages, I have lunched with Mr. Cason Murphy at Bird's, I have traded at Amoeba and thanks to a suggestion here today picked up The Hoax.

Loved the preamble Ron!

Me, too! :D Can we vote on making it the official Preamble to HHW?

I totally agree.  "News" reporters were already saying things this morning about who was leading in votes just after the polls opened.  Like...how the heck would they know?

Well, actually  the first official results were posted at about 12:10 AM this morning - that quaint "first of the first" little town with its 17 voters; their polls closed when all votes were cast, the ballots tallied and results posted. Also, they are doing exit polls to feed the news machine throughout the day.

I'm listening to an odd CD, which ranges from very nice to very strange - it's called Ecstasy and it's by Les Deux Love Orchestra.  Go know.

Good Evening!

I'm back from "Cassie Dance" rehearsal, and, as always, I LOVE being in the same room with Baayork Lee!  Just when I think I've heard all of her stories about A Chorus Line and about the backstory of "The Music And The Mirror", she "remembers" another one.  Or two.  Or three.  :)  -And the assistant had some great stories today too.

You're not an ignoramus, nor should you feel like one.
Some of us have very trivial minds which soak up things like a sponge; sometimes those useless bits of trivia can come in handy.

Hanging around with pre-teen Grandlads helps.

Yes, he is.  Friends of mine recently worked with him in LA.

...And I have to say, that while walking around The City the past couple of days, I've seen a couple of people clutching the year-end Good Eats issues of Time Out New York and New York Magazine, while standing outside some of the mentioned restaurants.  In fact, you can download a PDF of TONY's 100 Best Food and Drink list from their website for easier storage in your bag, purse and/or wallet.  :)

PANASONIC DEBUTS 150-INCH PLASMA TV

LAS VEGAS —  A 150-inch high-definition plasma TV unveiled by Panasonic is the world's largest to date, the Japanese consumer electronics company claimed Monday at the International Consumer Electronics Show.

The plasma panel features an 8.84-million-pixel image resolution. Its screen is the equivalent of nine 50-inch sets, with an effective viewing area of 11 feet, the company said.

It's a step up from Panasonic's 103-inch version, which cost $70,000 when it launched. The company did not say in a news release how much the 150-inch panel will cost.

Will there be a remodel in Charlotte?
