And here is Jose, fixing DR Elmore's computer. The breadth of DR Jose's talent and knowledge never fail to astound me!

And you can also see what a great view Elmore has at his desk!

So... What flavors did you get?

Oh my god, they were absolutely SINFUL! OK, I got 4 but I shared them with Greg:
(in order of preference)
Coconut/Orange
Aprocot/Champagne
Cointreau
Rhubarb

I think I was making orgasmic noises as I was eating the first one. Good thing we were sitting outside! ("I'll have what she's having"!)

OK, and we didn't eat all 4 at once---we took two on the plane, along with their Ceoque Monsieur, so we didn't have to eat crummy airport food.

Finished with motion picture watching and shall now do some revising on what I wrote this very day.  Something was bugging me and I think I figured out what it was and can now do what need be done.

YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of those flavors are truly out of this world.  She usually has three different chocolate ones, and you can actually taste the difference in "degrees" of chocolate between them.  But I think my favorites are the Chocolate/Banana, and the Coffee/Hazelnut ones.

And does a Croque Monsieur travel well?

I will say, the best part of the day was seeing DR elmore smile again.  :)

That was the best part of the trip---along with hearing DR Elmore splendiferous arrangements. Greg and I both were sitting there thinking how lucky we were to be able to hear these songs, and we hope they will be released someday soon!

And does a Croque Monsieur travel well?

It travelled well to the airport, and continued to travel well in our stomachs... :)

It was actually different from most I've had---it was more like a panini, grilled ham and cheese with the sauce. Tasty, but not in the same league as the macaroons!

For Dr Laura:

I defied protocol and snuck a picture of the ceiling of the synagogue before the ceremony. I took this holding the camera in my lap and aiming up and was happy to get something.

This synagogue has lots of beautiful stained glass!

I wish you had been. But now that we have this wonderful new blog to advise us, we should return sometime soon for another culinary exploration and more blaming of you-know-who!

I am wondering just how "vague" I will/should have to be in regards to describing some of the more "interesting" auditions.  Stay tuned.

Maybe that's for the people who "upgrade" their blog memberships. Cha-ching!

I've also read that some of the toxins from marine creatures (possibly the Stone Fish) may be a help in relieving musle pain.

I used to assist an editor in LA who had severe arthritis---he couldn't even turn his head, he had to turn at the waist to look around at something. He took very expensive medication for this, just for the pain.

Several years later I had lunch with him and noticed that he could now turn his head. He said that he had been vacationing in some tropical climate and was swimming when he found himself in the midst of a bunch of jellyfish. He was stung all over his body and had sores all over. But a few weeks later, his arthritis (rheumatoid, I think) disappeared and he only had to take an aspirin occasionally for pain. I told him that he needed to tell some doctors or something in case it was something they could experiment with for a cure.

From the pictures I have found, it is most likely a brown recluse, even though my arm isn't as swollen as last time.

TCB----see a dr! That's a serious thing! My ex MIL had to go to the hospital when she was bitten!

I love the crow and kitty video, too. I know my cats would never be on such friendly terms with a crow! (well, they might "pretend" to be, at first....)
