Also, thanks to DR Jennifer for the recipe and link.  We don't have enough recipes on HHW.

Here's a recipe for ya (it's called the G.I. Surprise):

1 tsp cornstarch
3 tbsps Milk of Magnesia
2 tsps Cayenne Pepper
1 jalapeno pepper, shredded.

Mix together, and serve on toast.

I have to share this perfectly wonderful review of the movie "10,000 BC" with y'all.  The reviewer's name is Ken Hanke and he was a wonderful wit and appreciation for what he has seen on the screen.

Check it out!

Thanks for the warning ;D

As dear as DRLaura is, and although she bakes pies, she wouldn't fix me up with this hunky man we saw at lunch today!

Obama will be within spitting distance of me tomorrow, but I will be at work.

And before someone else finds out and posts it, he will be in Plainfield, which is also the home of the Islamic Center - the headquarters of the sect in the US.

Hillary will be in Indiana next month (our primary is May 6) - but in honor of her visit KFC is offering the Hillary Clinton dinner:

2 small breasts
2 big thighs
1 big left wing

George, with so many people on the wait list for the same book did the library order extras?  How many copies are there?

For that particular title, there are 34 copies and 111 holds (as of right now).  They buy more copies at a ratio of 10 holds per copy, so they're not getting any more copies any time soon.  It used to be 6-1 ratio, but it's costing so much for such a small number of titles (the "Harry Potter"s and things like that), that they upped the ratio to save money.

George, it is a small book so it shouldn't take too long to get through the 11 people so you, as number 112, can read it.

Sorry for not wishing you break a leg wishes yesterday, DR George. I had it in my head that you were doing full dress rehearsals and opening tonight. So sorry to have missed adding my voices to others. Hope the rest of the run goes well for you.

Not a problem. :) And Thanks! ;D

Our library also has this as a downloadable audio book that I can listen to when I'm at home or transfer to an MP3 player (I don't have an iPod).  I could try that this weekend. :)

I've been doing laundry for two days now, even when I leave to do errands something is in the machines.  I'm sure DR elmore has no sympathy for me.  Actually I don't mind since the computer is next to the machines, in the comfort of my own home.

I'm running my last two loads now, Sherlock's car blanket (an old king size flannel duvet cover) and a load of towels.  These need washing as Sherlock got something disgusting on him during our hike.

Now I know why he ran up the embankment that was too steep for his front joints, something disgusting was waiting for him.;D  I had to climb/crawl up after him, lift up the barbed wire fence for us both to go under, and connect to a different trail for us to walk on.  All this in the rain.
