Ohhh... I just did some Googling, and found out that the falafel place I was referring to, Eat A Pita, has closed.  Ah, well...

Guess I'll have to check out some of the other recommended places I'm coming across.  ;)

Hmm... I just steamed some Kimchi and Pork Mandoo (Korean Dumplings), I bought at Mandoo Bar for dinner.  YUM!!!!!!!!!  -And there's just enough kimchi in them to make them spicy, but not to overwhelm the pork and vegetables.

There's one of those German westerns on TCM right now - listed as 1969, it was actually made in the "golden age" of German westerns - just prior to the spaghetti western onslaught - in 1964.  It stars Stewart Granger, but not Stewart Granger's voice.  Also, the first appearance in a western of future star Terrence Hill (under his real name of Mario Girotti, or something like that).

Just popped back in to sign off until later this evening. Writing all done and taken care of.

Now, back to Shirley Temple and company. Then, an evening of prime time TV.

It's almost time to get ready for work, another early start.

I need to find me a new calculator.  The one I took with me from my old job in California isn't working.  I think one of the dogs must have peed on it.   :P

Or maybe derBrucer.

I just got a kind of shocking email that my first real girlfriend (as in going steady and that whole megillah) died last night in her sleep.  She had had a tough adult life, battling various drug and alcohol addiction issues, so I'm not sure if that had played into it.  It is very sad because she had such an incredible amount of potential.

DR singdaw, having seen the wonderful Glynis Johns and the original cast, I'd rather see someone like Blythe Danner, Christine Baranski, or Annette Bening as Desiree than one of my least favorite people.

Or perhaps, Bernadette?

If you are between the Nzone and the Pzone, are you in the Ozone?

At the University of Georgia, parking is at a premium. The lots have letter names, and the upperclassmen get to park in the A-D prime lots.

When I finally got a car, I went to apply for a parking sticker and was told: "You're a sophmore. You'll have to park in the o zone." :-\

TOD: I would revive BABES IN TOYLAND and JUBILEE with the BBC cast, to hear Elmore's glorious orchestrations live!

DR SingSong ~ My thesis presentation Thirst and Parched are this Friday and Saturday. Actually, I shouldn't even be on here -- crunch week -- so way too much to do!  I've got to leave here soon to go get the sand (Thirst takes place on a raft in the ocean while Parched takes place in the middle of a desert).

Spending a few mintues here during a stressful time can be very rewarding.  It can calm you, it can rejuvenate you, and it can help you maintain your sanity.................  You really shouldn't be here Miss Karen.

Tuesday morning greetings!  I'm here at my desk between offsite meetings.

TOD - I'd like to see Sarah Jessica Parker in Funny Girl, but DR Elmore has told me she doesn't have the vocal chops.  How I empathize!

A revival of The Unsinkable Molly Brown would please me, too, but I'll leave the casting, good OR bad, to the professionals.

Reba!  And Brent.

I'm up and awaiting a call from Mr. Jason Graae who desperately needs some charts from his Strouse CD.  I don't recall seeing that box of music in years, but we're meeting at the storage place to look for it.

How come Jason Graae never wants to look thru my storage box?

Folding laundry and packing...

I just checked the weather for the L.A. area for the next week, and it looks like it should be quite Spring-like - not too cool (lows in the mid-50s), not too warm (highs in the upper 60s and 70s).  In other words, Perfect!  :)

Hmm...

So...

For anyone else who might be watching "Step It Up & Dance" on Bravo, well...  Have you checked out the latest tidbit about one of the contestants over at perezhilton.com?  It's most definitely something that should NOT be viewed at work.

I guess I didn't know who or what I was looking for, so I have no idea if I saw it.

I couldn't find anything that seemed to fit the bill, either.  But then, I don't watch the television show, so...

Who knows?
