Just nosing around and I've chosen the free gift for the book preorders - I think everyone will be very happy with it.

Ooo!  Can't wait to find out what it is...and to order the book! :D

For any "Lost" fans out there - and I think there are some here in HHW ;) - here's an interview with Harold Perrineau and his thoughts on what happened in the season finale.  CLICK HERE

*There's also a link to another article/interview that's also worth a read.

Thanks for the info.  Very informative...both articles. :)

Great minds, DR Jose! The laundry began about 20 minutes ago. i've already mopped the bathroom. My real name is Matt H.

It just can't be MattH. He does the bathroom on Sunday. Friday is kitchen mopping day only!

I had a full, diverse afternoon of entertainment.

I began with an NCIS episode while I cooked and ate lunch. Ducky and Kate are held hostage in the autopsy room. Very suspenseful episode, well done though it fizzled out just a bit at the end.

Next, I watched all of bonus features on the CLASSE TOUS RISQUES DVD. Basically it was a bunch of vintage interviews with the original book writer, the star of the film (no, not Belmondo; it's Lino Ventura), and excerpts from a documentary on the director Claude Sautet.

There were also two trailers: one in French and a dubbed in English one with Belmondo promoted to the star of the film (the dubbing is horrible; sounds nothing like the original people).

Next, I watched one of my favorite films of the last ten years, 16 BLOCKS, but this time on the Blu-ray disc I recently received on sale. I really enjoy watching this movie. Lots of suspense, some funny bits, too, and a great tension-filled climax.

I ended the afternoon with a quick skim of AS THE WORLD TURNS. No Luke or Noah, but they were in the previews with the idiotic Noah wanting to "take a break." He's been watching too many Ross and Rachel episodes of FRIENDS.

Tonight, I'm going to watch THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES. It's only 101 minutes long so I'll likely squeeze in another NCIS episode, too.

*And that Maple/Bacon Donut reminds me of the Milk Chocolate/Bacon bar that Vosgues Chocolates offer which was inspired by a breakfast of Chocolate Chip Pancakes served with Bacon and Maple Syrup.

Whoever would eat such a thing????

(I gues that would be ME!)

Today was the monthly lunch when the folks at work cook. Today they had a fish fry. It was the best fried fish I've ever had in my life! They also had stuffed crab, chicken wings (I'd never had fresh wings before...these were delightfully crispy and not unbearably spicy) plus homemade hush puppies, lots of roasted vegetables, yummy desserts. We were all in pain afterwards.

Hmmm... I just pointed to four "colors" that I know I hadn't tried before, so...  She told me what they were... And they were all quite good... But... Lemme see...

Red Wine (Merlot)
Anise/Rhubarb
Pistachio
Passion Fruit/Golden Citrus - or something like that

Well... I was about to head out earlier.  Needless, I didn't make it out of the apartment yet.  -However, the kitchen and refrigerator are a bit cleaner now.  So...

singdaw - Were you not posting on All That Chat when that play (and also the musical BKLYN)  was on Broadway?

I had the moniker BklynBoy on All That Chat since 2001, though, which pre-dated both shows' Broadway runs.

I saw this on Broadway. A friend of mine was the composer so he gave us house tickets. We really enjoyed it!
