TOD:

Dark chocolate!

The "scary" part is that "Dark Chocolate" - depending on the percentage of cocoa - could be considered a "moderate calorie" food.

Good afternoon. My presentation went very well. I don't know what the executive vice-president thought (she said thank you as she left) but apparently, the underlings (I include myself as an underling) liked it very much. I will talk to some of them later to get real opinions.

Mr. Morelli has but three days left in the New York area. He will be back in the city on Thursday and he will leave for Wisconsin on Friday morning. So far the weather looks great for a long drive (at least through New Jersey and Pennsylvania).

I don't count calories at all when i'm watching what i'm eating.

I've been eating as much as i want (which granted isn't very much) of meat, chicken, cheese, fruits and veggies.

I occasionally eat pumpernickel bread.

But stay away from any type of dessert (except light jello and whipped topping). No sugars. No processed foods.

The one thing i'm missing is exercise. Have not been good at all! I need to try to bike more times a week (at least 3). And i have a rebounder, which i should do every day.

DR Jennifer - "Whipped topping" is a processed food.

I am now finishing the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. When that is done I will move on to the Annie E. Casey Foundation which will take a couple of weeks, especially since I will be in Minnesota from August 7th through the 10th

And I have "Frosty Paws" doggie ice cream treats in the freezer until quitting time.  But I am not planning on offering those to my work colleagues.

Especially missing them on Sherlock's birthday.

We took him to the dog park after Keith's doctor appointment (eyes are looking good) and then for a walk around town.  He met up with loads of dogs today. :)  No birthday cake.  We will add some peanut butter to his frozen yogurt, applesauce, & banana bone.

One dog, sorry no photo, was a beautiful Blue Merle Corgi with blue eyes.

Well, we just had an earthquake - some are saying it was mild, but it was sure a little more than mild out here in Studio City, where it lasted for at least ten to fifteen seconds - nothing fell, but it was a little nervewracking.

CNN is already reporting it as a 5.8.

Hey, what's up with EZ Pass? You can go all the way from New York City to Illinois, EXCEPT FOR OHIO!

I guess Anthony will need some change to pay those Ohio Turnpike tolls.

Yes, I just heard the 5.8 thing, which is not insignificant - but no reports of damage or injury at all.  Some are reporting phone service is down, but they're usually wrong about these things - it's usually people overloading the phone lines.

Maybe it's 'cause we're a "purple state."
