I was hoping and yearning for fixes to be in place when I came back this afternoon. Oh, well.

Please be patient - this stuff is HARD.  And if you've gone into your preferences and just ticked those few boxes, everything should be working pretty close to normal.  We'll be fine - wish singdaw were here to let us know if his old name is now working.

Can they use mine?  I'm here at work for another three hours. :)

Just dropped them a line about the guests, so I'm sure that's an easy fix.

Yes, it is difficult and considering how long it takes at my job to get some things done I think we've made amazing progress today. This is not said to bash anyone, just an acknowledgement of the difficulties of putting up new software without any beta testing period.

Thanks for getting things together and making changes happen Bruce!  :-*

Why am I so small?

I'm sure Elmore will have a lengthy answer.

I've been thinking of several retorts actually!

Elmore, that's great!!!

A little walk, a change in diet. It's all for the best.

They now have all the fixes I've asked them to make - the first order of business is fixing the main problem, which he has now totally isolated - seems that our registered users were broken into various groups and 210 were in a group 9, which, when we switched, became problematic.  Therefore, no permissions.  I suspect that the 210 are all people who've posted over the years.  He suggested several fixes for the problem and I told him to do whatever he thought best.

I am being very patient and hope my tone didn't seem otherwise. I know WELL how daunting computer programming can be. I'm having trouble with the simple set-ups, so I can imagine how technical the entire site would be.

Good Afternoon!

So... Maple syrup... Brown(ed) butter... Vanilla... Yep, tastes like Pancake Frozen Custard to me!

Well, I will say with the decreased posts per page, it's a bit easier to navigate this site on my iPhone. My right index figure doesn't have to work out as much. ;)

I don't think I would care for the pancake frozen custard Uncle JoJo is eating.

DR elmore - Congrats on the weight loss!

*Maybe bk should just pretend he's diabetic and just eat four to five small meals throughout the day and take a daily walk instead of taking the "long jog" and only eating once a day. -And then telling us about it. ;)

Well, I will admit that it won't be one of my favorite featured flavors, but one does what one must do  in the name of culinary research! ;)

*And the natural light today here in Madison Square Park helped the photogenicity of the cup of frozen custard. ;)

Has anyone looked at the old posts in this new board?  I was looking through my old posts and came across THIS one.  It was a vibage post for DR TCB and I had it move, but because the code to "move" has now changed, it doesn't move and you see the code in the regular post.  The code used to be [move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%] TEXT [/move], but now it's:  [ move ] TEXT [ /move ] (without spaces).

I'm puzzled on the new sizing for things since [size=10pt) is a foreign concept to me after our previous measuring system.

We don't have a browser box to post photos.  I wonder if that will return along with a few other missing options.

I've adjusted some of my settings, but they still aren't to my liking. I'll continue to experiment.

Heading down now to continue watching the bonus features of LE DOULOS. I will likely not start on prime time TV until 9 p.m. by watching what's been recorded on the DVR.
