Holy smokes - one dealer just took 500 copies of the Elmer.  That means that with other dealer commitments there are now less than 400 left.

I'm glad I got my order in! :D

We're now down to about 330 copies - amazing especially because I've discovered that announcing on the film music board on a Friday isn't optimal - lots of people don't frequent the board on the weekend.

I have returned from the pre-reunion party, which was an amazing success.
Everyone kept coming up and thanking me for organizing the event.  The pizza was paid for, along with a suitable tip for Angel who was our waitress.  I guess I did okay, for being Mr. Unpopular in school.

In the midst of the party, a woman came in dressed all in black, and looking very stark and rather lost.  She looked years older than the rest of us, which is pretty tough to do at a 40 year high school reunion.  A lot of us were wondering who she might be, but weren't terribly concerned since she arrived with another of our classmates.  Finally the word reached the corner of the room where I was standing.  She was indeed a girl from our class, one of the most beautiful and sweetest girls in our entire class.  She is suffering from advanced Alzheimer's Disease.

It was quite a sobering moment for many of us, who hadn't known that she was ill.  It was emotional enough to read thru the list of classmates who had passed away since high school, but here was another of our classmates that was also gone, and yet still here.
