Well, you've read the notes, the notes were neither arch nor arcane, and now it is time for you to post until the arch and arcane cows come home.

Well 2 years ago the powers that be sold my little town down the river and agreed to the construction of the Tanger Outlet Mall - a monstrosity that is supposed to draw up to 50,000 people a day , on a direct path past my front door

http://www.exploreli.com/entertainment/localguide/south-shore-suffolk/ny-lsstyle5892222oct22a,0,4456381.story

they have tried to raise a level of excitement and win the hearts and minds of those of us they have by the , well you get my drift, by having special, preferential hiring days  for residents of this town, and in yetserday's mail, we residents  have all received special "backstage passes"  to allow us to come in to see the mall in all its glory and have a private shopping night tonight from 4 -9 - tomorrow is the official grand opening

Much has been made of the tax benefits to our little town - however since the powers that be (did I mention how they sold us down the river?) gave the multimillionaire smug bassas  a TEN YEAR TAX Moritorium it will do us no good whatsoever until years after our property values have been driven into the ground

Good morning, all! I have a long day at Toyland and that's about it. I've got to put together a lunch and get ready all of the scores I need to cart with me.

Beyond that, I anticipate a quiet day. Let's hope.

Cason? Do we know a Cason? Hppy Birthday to him, I guess!

there are  some silver linings:

they have built a 16 screen (including IMAX) stadium seating movie theatre and local residents (with proof of residency) may attend all shows for the next week for $2 a ticket - $2 popcorns and $2 sodas

I will be able to bike to work when the economy forces my business to close and I am forced to sell my car take a minimum wage job (or 3 ) at the local shops

It will make a handy place to stay warm when we cannot afford to heat our houses

For ask bk day: Re: McCormick and Schmidt--I thought it might be pricey since they didn't list prices on their website. My friend Susan is picking me up from the airport and driving me to Burbank, so I'll be picking up the tab. That alone is worth a nice dinner!

So...what did you have there?
