DR JMK does the Frances Farmer Fun Festival have a website for information?

francesfarmersrevenge.net

The guy emailed me yesterday--the City of Seattle has approved November 7 as Frances Farmer Day and they're going to try to get that changed to September 19 permanently starting next year.

re: the Debra Messing show THE STARTER WIFE

It's premiering here tonight and i was wondering if anybody here watched it or has seen it? Does it sound like something i might like?  Thanks.

How on earth would anyone here be able to know that?  I hate loathe despise Debra Messing, so "The Starter Wife" is not something I would like, and I know that without requiring anyone else's input.

Take a chance and watch an episode.  Only you can decide.

Congratulations on your casting George

Casting?  George!  Have you broken something?  Leg, arm, hip?  How big is the cast?  Will you be wearing it for an extended period?  Is it a hard cast or a soft cast?

I am perplexed by its being Wednesday.

It feels like Tuesday.

And I ain't got no Project Runway to look forward to.

It's great to start a day with a rationalization that concerns magnitude.

And to the "thought implant" of hearing Gloria Gaynor singing "We Will Survive"!

I watched a rather flabby episode of "Biggest Loser" last night.  The promos ruined it for me by positing two potential evictees, one of which actually was evicted.  There was virtually nothing to look forward to except more reasons to increase my severe dislike for one contestant named "Heba".  She provided them and then some.

Much to my surprise and delight, the UPS man just dropped off the Blu-ray of TINKER BELL, so that will be my work project for the day.

I'm up, after a mostly good night's sleep.  I did wake up twice and the second time I finally figured out why.  Yesterday morning it was around sixty-five in the house when I awoke, so I turned on the heat.  I then forgot I turned on the heat so I never turned it off.  I don't sleep well when the heat is on, and that was the problem.  The second time I realized I was hearing the heater, so I got up and turned it off.

Not sure if I'll have time to jog this morning.  I'd have to be on the jogging road by ten, and the heat has made me very dry and congested.

We started the fireplace yesterday and it was blazing away this morning.  A very nice warm fire.

BK, regarding Peggy Webber in DRAGNET...she also worked on the radio version as well as many episodes of the later 1960s verson.

If you check your back issues of SCARLET STREET you will find my interview with her (from a few years back. )

She is very active in CALIFORNIA ARTISTS RADIO THEATRE http://www.calartistsradiotheatre.org/CART_schedule.htm

And of course she was the female lead in the films SPACE CHILDREN and THE SCREAMING SKULL.

E and T, I may be, but I did want to stop by and thank all of you loyal HHW'ers so much for your birthday wishes!
When I get a chance, I'll let you guys know how things are going here at UCLA...but alas, I need to get ready for a lecture discussion.  Thrilling way to spend a birthday... ;)

Good Afternoon!

Another good and busy day of auditions. Not crazy, just busy.

My Dad is doing much, much better today. Alas, my Mom's "levels" seem to be keeping her in the hospital for now. She's feeling much, much better and feeling stronger today too, but her doctors want to err on the safe and cautious side in regards to sending her home. Thankfully, my parents have great medical insurance.  ;)

Vixmom, move to PDX.  We have one of the most restrictive building codes in the nation--Wal-Mart, for example, has pretty much given up on us (in the metro area at least--they're out in the 'burbs), and Costco and Ikea had to fight like hell to get approved.

another reason Jed and I have always said that the Portland area would be the only place we'd move if we ever decided to leave our current digs.

I too would love to live in Portland, but alas I am poor and can only afford Salem.
