Now I must go. I think I'm going to see The Secret Life of Bees and then come home and print a number of photos and email photos I took this morning of a certain candidate to friends who want to see them. I got some very good photos.

Good Afternoon!

It certainly has been a strange weather day so far here in NYC. It's kind of warm, balmy outside - mid- to upper 60s. The rain has been coming and going over the past couple of hours, and the wind has also been gusting from time to time. They were predicting lots of rain for today, but I've only seen one brief downpour so far. I'm, more or less, in for the evening - I can definitely feel the past week catching up with me - so the rain is OK. Now, if I could just get motivated to get some cleaning and laundry done.

OH!

After my lunch yesterday, I went ahead and stopped by the Carnegie Hall box office to see if they had any tickets left for tomorrow's piano recital by Maurizio Pollini. I know which box office ticket system they use, and know how to read the seating codes. Well, when the screen came up, I noticed that every seat was sold - even the one's set aside for VIPs. Well, every seat was sold except one - smack dab in the center of the last row of the balcony - the last row of the hall. So... I'll be seeing Pollini tomorrow afternoon at Carnegie Hall.

*And I'm wondering if it will be like his last recital where after playing for over two hours, he ended up playing another hour's worth of encores.

I've seen "pork roll" listed on some menus - actually some of the Dominican places do(?) - but I'm not sure if they serve Taylor's.

I didn't watch LIFE yet, so i didn't see the notification that it was moving to wednesdays (i wonder if the canadian station that shows it fridays at 8pm will move it as well).

I think it is obviously better for the show to be on wednesdays (i do watch lipstick jungle). That is not very good for it that it now gets the friday slot.

Life will be on i guess against private practice (not really sure how popular that is).

I actually really enjoyed this week's GHOST WHISPERER. I think it was my favorite of the season.

I really miss payne. And sometimes i wonder why they use cameryn manheim (sp?) so little. She only got one scene last night.

But i really liked the cruise!

Ha, High School Musical 3 has been open for one day and my 13 year old niece who came over today has already seen it. She was invited to see it at a party today. But she had already seen it yesterday! She said it was great.

I agree Michael! Our old backyard used to get dozens of dragonflies (I'm not sure if it was the pool or the plants that attracted them), but I loved watching them.
