And, sadly, dozens of white supremacists are no doubt lining up to replace Oswald in the history books.

SWITCHED

Quote
Wal-Mart Cutting CD Shelf Space to Make Room for Blu-ray

Remember the days of watching big box retailers like a hawk to see if more shelf space was being given to Blu-ray or HD DVD? Yeah, epic times. Now, however, a new report is suggesting that Wal-Mart may be giving more of its packaged media space to Blu-ray Discs rather than music CDs. The reason? A 23-percent decline in CD sales during the first four weeks of Q4. Richard Greenfield, analyst with Pali Capital, believes that Wally World is "increasing its exposure to consumer electronics, video games and Blu-ray, and reducing floor space devoted to CDs and standard DVDs."

Really really loved Billy Porter's production of SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED (a very entertaining revue of songs made famous by Stevie Wonder)  when I saw it at the Venetian in Vegas some years back.

(since Billy Porter is mentioned in BK's notes)

Let's see.....yes I am glad so many DR's enjoyed the Disco Dancer video....I also watched the Kitty Cat Dance....very funny.

Last night I also watched AJNABEE....about two impossibly beautiful Indian couples....

One couple is Raj and Priya, he is a Polo Coach....they are newly married and go to live in Switzerland where they meet.....Vicky (male) and Sonia.....   Vicky is an entrepreneur with a lot of money....there is polo, cooking, skiing, a trip to Mauritius, a cruise on an ocean liner.....and wife swapping.....sort of.

Akshay Bobby and Bobby Deol who play the husbands are most handsome....and this movie from 2001 has some lovely music.  The women are unbelievably beautiful as well....and are not...uh....shy.

My question for ASK BK day......first you read the book and then you saw the movie.....which movie came closest to your ideas of the book.

And then first you saw the movie, then you read the book.....which book disappointed you most......

Well, it looks like Prop 8 narrowly passed in California.

It remains to be seen if I will be told that my marriage is invalidated.

The rat hole (remember RH from yesterday) is now a mouse hole, still difficult but one of the traps has been removed.

Book first, then movie:  TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

Movie first, then disappointing book:  would the novelization of THE EYES OF LAURA MARS count?

I wouldn't doubt that Prob 8 (along with the Florida prop) will be overturned in the courts.  But still a let down that it passed.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I burst out crying at 11:00 pm last night.  Tears of joy, they were.

My suggestions to President Obama to help our economy:

1.  Sell Alaska to Canada.

2.  Give the 50th state slot to Puerto Rico.

Admit it, wouldn't Puerto Rico be much more happenin' as a state?
