I didn't mean to cause tsuris but I did want to point out "the bad people" (an almost Kriztzerland reference) so they could be removed or banned before they caused us tsuris.

I'm glad you did.

All I can say is, these two Herrmann scores are the berries and if you are at all a fan of his film music, you'll want them.  Even if you aren't - by the first of January you'll be able to double your money or more.

Still very gray out - I'd do the long jog, but I do NOT want to be caught in a sudden downpour.  On the other hand, it looks like I'm not doing the shoot this week.  David has a doctor thing he now needs to do Thursday morning, so they're either getting another director to do the shoot or postponing it until Friday.  Friday doesn't work for me, and I won't work with anyone but David on a hidden camera shoot.

I see a new Doris Day box set is coming in April. Among the contents: APRIL IN PARIS, TEA FOR TWO, IT"S A GREAT FEELING, STARLIFT (which I've never seen), THE TUNNEL OF LOVE.

I remember seeing STARLIFT.  It's like a THANK YOUR LUCKY STARS/HOLLYWOOD CANTEEN for the Korean War.

Cagney is in it.

Love IT'S A GREAT FEELING and, although I don't think I've ever seen it, APRIL IN PARIS has Ray Bolger...which is always a treat.

Bolger is fine and Day is great as always, but they don't make a very felicitous romantic couple.

When the local community theater did THE WIZ back in the 1990s, they used a racially mixed cast. They did have an African-American Dorothy, Evelene, Wiz, and Lion, but many of the other roles were played by Caucasians.

I spent most of the afternoon on THE DUCHESS. I enjoyed it very much. I didn't know the story at all, so I had no idea what was going to happen.

Very good transfer, too.

I did have time to skim through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. No Luke, but Brian and Luke were in the previews for tomorrow.

I agree completely. He's completely asexual to me. Talented, can be funny, but not a sexual presence at all.

Listening to rainy day music.  Even though I didn't have much planned for the day, I, in fact, haven't stopped doing things since I got up.  I've gotten all the Twisted Nerve stuff to the web designer, I've done a few errands, paid a couple of bills and cleaned the book room, which now looks lovelier than lovely.

Remember when I related the story of the shipment I had that was declared "undeliverable"? Well, I reordered the items on Saturday morning, got the shipping notice Saturday afternoon, and the package arrived today. I think this must have set some sort of record for items ordered and being received via Amazon.

DRVixmom, I'm sure you deserve all the goodness you have received.  I'm also glad I checked in after my trek through the snow to the mailbox, and before taking Sherlock out for another romp in the snow.

CONTINUED VIBES AS YOU GO THROUGH THIS!

Did you get some new meds to reduce the nausea?

Seriously wasn't there a porn star who called himself Ray Bulger?

About 20 years ago, there was on Off Broadway show about a giant tap-dancing gorilla called, "Queen Kong."  The object of his adoration was played by an actor named Ray Fay.
