We've had a whopping four orders for Twisted Nerve.  Of course, you have until the 24th - which is when it's officially announced.  At that point, you'll probably have twenty-four hours.

This is not meant as an insult to our fine group here, but is there a market on HHW for Herrmann's more horror-related scores?

***SAFE & EASY TRAVEL VIBES***
for DR Ron Pulliam!!

It's gotten considerably "easier" since I booked a airport shuttle bus seat to get me to SFO.  Pick-up is 8:15 p.m., pst.

And I've been out/about and shopped for last-minute things and all is done, all is well, and all that is left is to pack the suitcase.

Okay, Bakalor finally responded.  New members now have to type in some letters and numbers, and once they do that, I have to approve them.  I now have full admin capabilities so we should be fine from now on.

Good to have control over your own site :)

So they have to wait for your approval before they can post?  Is there something to explain the inconvenience?  It is sad this is necessary.

Typing in two words is hardly an inconvenience.  If anything, it will save bk from having to approve or disapprove a whole slew of possible computer-generated spambots.

Even Facebook has instituted "security" controls when people post videos and other links in order to make sure that it's not a truly "viral" video.

Thanks, Jane. She is very cute and friendly, so she should get adopted quickly. Kittens usually get adopted this time of year. Too bad kitten season is in the summer.

Lurkers can still lurk.  But if they wish to register and post, than they will have to "prove" that they can read and that they are a real person and not some computer-generated entity.

OK - Time for me to get ready for my afternoon audition session. At least it's good to know that I won't need to wear the winter coat I did not buy yesterday.  ;)

-But it does look like I will need my umbrella.

Here is the Twisted Nerve cover.

Love the cover!  But shouldn't it be "ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACKS" since there are two different soundtracks on the CD?

Just curious. :)

I'm referring to the fact they might have to wait all day or night for Bruce to "approve" them.  I don't have a better suggestion.  I don't know how to leave a nice explanation of there might be a wait if Bruce isn't on the board when they want in to post.

Are those the critters that have been/have not been hanging around my basement, with their queen?

Oh, Jose said that was for JRand. Jack, have you been having/not having pest problems, too???

Perhaps some of my legion of inspectors can decide whether prospective DRs are/are not real people and are/are not civil?? Of course, the civility issue is likely to be settled quite quickly.

(Yes, I may indeed be going batty.)

Perhaps this is similar to what MISS KAREN goes through with the little people who sit on her shoulders--you know, "Get revenge!" "No! Be nice, she's just a kid!" "Strangle the idiot!" "No, we need him for Act 2!"

Sorry, Singdaw, but it looks like your HHW member was deleted in the second purge. Perhaps you will want to re-register that nom de plume and see what the new registration process is like.

I didn't mean to cause tsuris but I did want to point out "the bad people" (an almost Kriztzerland reference) so they could be removed or banned before they caused us tsuris.

I am intrigued and scared about the new 20/20 tonight which is about a production of THE WIZ by a nearly all white high school in Virginia.

I work with so many high school kids during the summer - the good, the bad, and the...well...you know - that I don't know if I want to go through the entire experience in two hours.....

But.....I think I might feel more positive if it wasn't a show with some serious built in problems for this particular venue.....
