Well, you've read the notes, you've pondered the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the imponderable cows come home.

And the word of the day is: STEATOPYGIA!

Something I no longer have a problem with.

Oh for the days when we had our late-night denizens and we'd do the Bunny Hop and the Limbo.

Topic of the Day:  my favorite (but not necessarily the best) James Bond movie is "For Your Eyes Only."  I think it was the first that I ever saw in a theater...and I love the theme song. :)

I also like the David Niven version of "Casino Royale," although I haven't seen that in a long time.

Well, my New Year's Resolution was to try and get more sleep...but it hasn't happened as regularly as I would've hoped. ::)

But there's always tomorrow, so I'm off to bed.

Good night BK and guests. :)

Monday morning greetings!  I'm up early tending to some paperwork and such before picking my mom up for her procedure at the dermatologist's office.

Vibes to DR Edi - the worst is over!

I am glad MR BK found OSS 117 amusing and that he had had a chance to listen to the CD!  It is so very rare that I can send him something that he hasn't seen or heard!  LOL

Thanks also to DRMBARNUM who sent me the original Nippon recordings.

Spy movies......of course Mr Sean Connery as James Bond is still my favorite, especially -

Goldfinger
Thunderball

And the NEW James Bond Daniel Craig in the latest Casino Royale.

I like Jean Dujardin in OSS 117, of course.

Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman in NOTORIOUS.

Lots of others.....I think my favorite, though he is involved in espionage by accident - in FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT.

Good morning, all!  It's the Monday morning blues, with too much to accomplish today. We'll see how far I get.

Last night I watched "Prayers for Bobby," which I wanted to like more than I did. Sigourney Weaver is quite wonderful, as is the rest of the cast, but the film left me wishing it had been maybe 30 minutes longer; it's essentially a family drama and I felt I was often at a family reunion having no idea who the hell anybody was. I also felt Ms Weaver's progression from idiocy to enlightenment could have been a bit more transitional. I'm also still wondering how it ended up on Lifetime, the All-Men-Are-Evil Channel: there wasn't a woman in peril of death, torture, rape, stalking, prostitution, embezzlement, or identity theft all evening.

DR DAKOTA CELT

The solar eclipse this morning combined with the continuing Mercury retrograde compounded computer and communication problems.

BUT the Mercury retrograde ends on February 1 - so we only have six more days of this stuff to endure.
