I got some chicken soup from Jerry's and ate it all up.  I really cannot afford to get sick.  Suckin' on another Coldeez, and will have more EmergenC in a while.

Looking forward to TAR tonight. It's the 14th TAR.  Doesn't seem like it's been on that long, but time does fly

I just got home from the Hollywood Collector's Show.

Had a great day.  Did twice the sales that I did yesterday, which is very unusual for a Sunday.

Joan Collins did not get her own room today.  She was out where Carrie Fisher was yesterday.

Today's "Special Attractions" were Nancy Olson, who looks terrific, and Bobby Sherman, who came wearing his police uniform.

Hank Garrett, who was next to me, told a very funny story about Mel Brooks' directing the original movie version of THE PRODUCERS.  According to Hank, when Mel gave directions to Zero Mostel, it was all in Yiddish.  None of the rest of the cast could understand what they were saying to each other.

I took the Goldstein sisters on an adventure today: IKEA. I hope I wore them out enough to go to bed early tonight. Mr. Goldstein said he took a nap while we were gone.

DR elmore3003 - currently watching Season 2 of The Tudors on DVD.  What happened to Thomas Tallis - did they kill him off in Season 1 that I don't remember?

I guess without the character who was Tallis' lover, they didn't care to keep him around. There's also no historical evidence, as I recall, that Tallis was actually gay. I believe he was married and had a family. They have a new gay couple the second season!

Cason has come and gone.  I shall now sit on my couch like so much fish, relax, watch a motion picture on DVD and try not to get sick.

I think I'll watch another potboiler.  I'm making some toast - I don't really have anything else in the house, so the huge bowl of soup will have to suffice as I'm not going outside again this evening.

I think i need a new thermostat for my furnace. I touched it and gave it a static shock. Now the display is blank. I've reset it according to the instructions from the internet but it's still blank.  It appears to be working, but I can't see what it's set at.  Hmmm  I'll have to call someone tomorrow

Ron - Yeah, but I've convinced myself that you and I look alike, so TCB may have us confused too.

:)

In the dark, even I wouldn't be able to tell you apart.  ;)

And that is what makes those portable, hand-charging halogen lights  so valuable!

Rehearsal was okay.  I gave whatever notes I could, but we just haven't had time to really do anything - so, I gave him the broad strokes of what he needs to focus on, and hopefully when he has the audience, he will.  It's a good little interim act, though, and he sounds great.

And looks even better!

Sugar has made sure I have walked  more in the last 36 hours than I have in weeks.  By this evening, I think I finally got her trained again to only walk me 2 miles before she'll poop.  I know for a fact that I'm the only one who she can get away with that.

I watched the first part of "Best Friends" last night, and will watch something so Sugar and I can sit on the couch together like so much fish.

I am up; it is freezing, and I had to take Sugar out to do her thing.  Lovely having her here, but I'll admit, the days when I cold just open the door and let her out loose in her own big fenced yard were easier on cold mornings.  She is cutely curled on the couch now.  And yes, walking 20 miles in the snow so she can pee is worth it.   Thank God we live in the desert!

Freezing! Oh, Mary, get off my dress :)

You're from Arizona. Freezing to you is 65 degrees ;)

It was no more than 52 degrees, but i think it was actually officially 47 degrees at the time.

Freezing is 32 degrees.   :)

Freezing is freezing when you've been awakened  on a frosty February morn from a nice toasty sleep and you're outside waiting for a dog to pee at 5:30 am.
