I got caught with egg on my face at Toyland: I got two numbers in the appendix reversed and got hell over it from Jonathan Larson Grant winner Curtis Moore. I got home about 30 minutes ago and all is corrected. I also stopped at the market, got some things for the week and now I'm back to the Happiest Fella in the Napa Valley. I'm very sleepy, so maybe a nap first.

Seeing Robbins' great ballet "Dances At A Gathering," set to piano pieces by Chopin, at City Ballet was one of the most glorious moments I've ever encountered.

Home from the AAUW luncheon, where the guest speaker provided 2 door prizes.  My name was selected first and I got to choose between a nice umbrella and a flyswatter.  Guess what I picked.

It's not scheduled to be released until March 31, 2009.  Is it possible that your local library will have a copy or two? ;)

I am grateful to home video for allowing me the privilege of staging my own revival festivals and being able to watch classics whenever I choose.

That said, it WAS thrilling to sit in the theater and finally get to see movies I had longed to see for decades on the big screen.

I watched last night's PSYCH while I ate lunch. Very enjoyable cat and mouse episode with Cybill Shepherd as a guest star (I must have missed her name in the credits), and a really creepy stalker chick. Was that Ally Sheedy?

I then watched some episodes of RICK & STEVE. They can be funny, and the lines fly by very quickly so one must really pay attention. The first one had the (long) birth of the baby. The second was a very funny parody of THE WIZARD OF OZ.

Both were thoroughly enjoyable.

Back from the designer's house, and a few errands.  It seems the book dealer friend wants to pick me up between four and five - it's fine with me - the earlier dinner is the better - but it seems that leaves us a lot of time before the show, but maybe we're meeting Bradbury or something.

The Blu-rays of CUCKOO'S NEST and THE DIRTY DOZEN which I had ordered a few days ago arrived today. I was very surprised with their speedy delivery.

I got no new review material today. I found out PRIMAL FEAR comes out on March 10t, and since the Kurosawa DODES KA-DEN doesn't come out until March 17th, I guess PRIMAL FEAR will be my work project for tomorrow.

I also got a DVD called Dead Of Night - not the classic 40s chiller from the UK, which I have, but some Dan Curtis thing from TV.  Good casts in the three stories so I'm sure it will at least be enjoyable on that level.

Happy Birthday, Matthew.  If you need any Wii advice, my sons are walking instruction manuals.  :)

DR JMK - Did you happen to catch the Wii skit on last week's SNL? ;)

That was so funny!

Well, it doesn't feel or look that it's that cold outside yet.  -And I do have a good jacket.  And since I've been sitting in front of the TV all day... And since I'll be dining with DR elmore tonight... I think I'm just gonna go ahead and head out now and walk down to DR elmore's hood.

Guess I'll head down now and get back to work. Then, I have MONK, LAW & ORDER, and a CHUCK episode to watch this evening.

Yeah, it was a tough choice, DR Jane.  The speaker was a financial planner and we were hoping for something like a free consultation.  Oh, well.
