I guess I should shave and stuff, because the book dealer could arrive as soon as four o'clock, although I do hope it's closer to five.

There is a new episode of TAR tomorrow. Although the oscars only start at 8:30pm.

Luckily here they are showing TAR from 7pm-8pm (the canadian station that shows TAR also is showing the oscars).

So i'm gonna watch the red carpet from 6-7pm, then TAR from 7-8pm and then the red carpet at 8pm and oscars at 8:30pm!

Given BK's clue, I am guessing we are due either for WOMEN IN LOVE or A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS.

Toby and Dylan were treated earlier, now they would like to be re-treated.

I'm sure Sherlock would also like to be re-treated.  I bet he will be, just as I'm sure Toby & Dylan will be.

I can't believe I just posted that.  ;D  I'm going to stop procrastinating & do some house cleaning.

Oh... And WNET-thirteen is showing "A Thousand Clowns" tonight.  -The Jason Robards version.  Hmm....

I saw that in the theatre when it was released.  Thank God, my Mother treated us like adults when it came to movies and art and literature.(partially, I think so that she wouldn't have to get a child-sitter).  Had we lived in a big city (and not the cowboy town Phoenix was then and still tries to be at times), I know she would have taken me to wonderful plays.  My two other siblings were clueless and bored through all the films we saw that weren't made for less than an adult age group (Disney, Beach party movies, etc.).  However, I took it all in-- "Darling," "Patch of Blue," "Fanny,"  "Miracle Worker," "The Slender Thread," and so many more.  I think I lived all my adult years from about the age of 4 to 24!

Oy, we just gave Toby and Dylan a little bit of pizza crust, and now Toby's hanging out under the table smiling, as if expecting some more pizza crust to magically come his way.

Sugar is happy-- she ate; she walked; she pooped.

And it's 80 degrees!   However you'll be thrilled to know it is supposed to cool down to a brisk 72 later in the week.

Fortunately, the sunglasses I'm wearing aren't real dark.  Here I am wearing them at Russ & Daughters on our first walking tour with Jose in 2005:

You look far lovelier now!

Someone on the Film Score Monthly message board has made a guess as to the composer of our new soundtrack release - since it is a correct guess, I suppose I can share that much information with you - Georges Delerue.

I adore his work!

I think book dealer friend has JUST arrived - so between four and five really meant after five.  Go know.  I shall now be on my way to sup and see a play, after which I shall return with a full report (especially if I eat Mexican food).
