Charles Pogue and BK, you need to come to Oregon...we have TONS of used book stores!!!

And in all the years I have lived here I can only think of one used book store that has ever closed...all of the others have been around for years and years.

I watched half of another motion picture, but will finish that one tomorrow in the late afternoon.  I'm told that tomorrow's two-hour work session will, in fact, be three hours - I cannot imagine what we'll do for three hours, so we shall see.  Maybe an hour of it can be lunch.  I am going to have to arise quite early in order to get the jog in, although after seven days (maybe eight) in a row, I think I'm ready for a one-day break.

I have nothing to say at this time.

Has someone paid for your silence?

Something.  That is all I have to say at this moment.  Should I think of something to say, I will post it. . . post haste.

Easy - folks straggle in 30 minute late; 2 hour work session; folks leave 30 minutes early for other commitments.

Well, two or three hours is better than the twelve hour days of last week.

And in all the years I have lived here I can only think of one used book store that has ever closed...all of the others have been around for years and years.

Sad to say, I buy mostly off the internet now, as I'm just filling holes in my collection these days.  And a great many dealers are going to the internet because it is easier than maintaining the upkeep of a store and shop hours.  Also has I get older, I'm finding the thrill of the hunt is not quite what it was.  And it could be because the independent bookstores are not what they once were and their stock does not make one's heart go pitty-pat when sleuthing the stacks. And a bit of my acquisitiveness has died as well; it's time to read all those books I've been buying over the years.  I'm way behind; buying far faster than I read. Still, next to the backstage smells of a theatre, my favourite smell is a musty old bookstore.  And when I can find those rare stores anymore where there are rooms and floors of hidden delights, it is a wonder to behold.

Or at least less frightening.

Well, I must take a shower watch the last three episodes of "Battlestar Galactica."

Too much Jamie Bamber?

NEVER! ;D Thanks!  I didn't watch any "Battlestar Galactica" episodes.  I went to my sister's to help her for a bit, then went to Home Depot to get an adhesive to hang a hook for my shower caddy.  Now, I'm watching "Brothers and Sisters."

I'm also recording the season premiere of "Celebrity Apprentice," to be watched at a later date. :)

Don't forget - I'm going to let you dear readers have the advance on our next two releases - they'll be first up in tomorrow's posts - but, MUM'S the word on both - I don't really want the news out quite yet.  The official announcement will either be Friday or Monday next.
