Sorry I'll miss BK's booksigning today, waiting for someone to come by and give me a key to my neighbors apt.  She's in Amsterdam on a world tour, and needs someone else to watch her place till she comes back in May.

I think BK would love her voice.

It's quite chilly out.  I've got all the books in boxes for the signing, and I'm bringing a few Nudie Musical DVDs, too.

How many other authors/tables will be at today's event?

The signings go on all day, from morning till about four or five.  I think there are about thirty-five of us throughout the day, and lucky for me that a couple of the biggest are signing during the same time I am.

Hello, everyone.

OK, here's a question for anyone: Doubletree Inn has a commercial running that features the voice of a black female. Neither DF&H or I can place the voice. Has anyone else heard the commercial and recognized the voice?

I found a commercial with Dinah Washington singing.

Yesterday was a perfect spring day.  Today it is cold, windy & we have had a light snowfall on and off.

The Doubletree commercial? I suggested Dinah Washington, but DF&H said no. Humm...

If you're talking about "Relax, Max," it is indeed Dinah.

DF&H stands for Dear Friend and Host. I am merely a house guest--and a short-timer at that.

A bit slow at the World of Wisdom today, too.  Even Merlin the cat is doziing....

Tonight is TAR!!!!  And there seems to be some drama with Luke and "hid bob" - so we will see what happens.  If we could only get rid of the redheads, I wouldn't care who won!

Here's a topic.....do you like your drag queens to be funny or do you like your drag queens to be serious?

Who had/has the best drag career on a BIG level:

Jim Bailey, RuPaul, or Dorothy Kilgallen?

Had a nice lunch, but I still feel as if I'm on some kind of other worly schedule. I haven't read today's newspaper yet. I am running about an hour beyond my normal Sunday routine. I did get laundry done and folded, but I'm not sure if the bathroom will get cleaned today. That may have to wait.

While I ate my lunch, I watched Wednesday night's DAMAGES, the season's penultimate episode. Who's going to kill whom? Everyone seems to be in someone else's sights.

I also watched the end of the figure skating last night to see Evan Lysechek's long program in HD. It was beautifully skated, very secure with the jumps and though his style isn't my favorite, it got the job done.

I also went back and watched Caroline Kostner of Italy's meltdown on ice, really sad and skated at the novice level of difficulty (lots of single toe jumps). I saved it so I could go back and watch the champion's long program again (even though she did have one momentary slip-up).
