I ended my afternoon watching this week's SMALLVILLE. A cutsy episode without much substance and allowing Erica Durance to play two roles. Rather tired, I thought. They're running out of ideas at SMALLVILLE.

Since DOUBT is only 103 minutes long and I have all evening, I decided I'd go ahead and do it tonight. I'm expecting the Blu-ray of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS tomorrow to review, and if it doesn't come, I have to go back and watch the DVD version of BEDTIME STORIES.

Thank you, lads!  I think it did.
There were forty people here at the house following for lunch.
Dixie Bell and I spent forty-five minutes outside on her leash, enjoying the beautiful sunshine.

As she was leaving, our pastor asked me if I would be willing to sing "Because He Lives" again on Easter Sunday.

Pictures have been posted on Facebook.

We just Skyped with Craig.  He went to a non-profit job fair during the week & had a phone interview today.  He has a few possibilities in the works & could use some good vibes.

Sunday evening greetings!  Richard and I went to our Cincinnati church today and the pastor's 5-year-old granddaughter decided she wanted to sit with me.  We colored all during her grandfather's sermon and then she almost went to sleep wrapped in my raincoat.

If you're talking about "Relax, Max," it is indeed Dinah.

I love this song! I drove Jo crazy during my Christmas visit by singing it to their German shepherd Max every time he got unruly, which was about once an hour.

Sounds like William Bolcom's "Black Max" would have been more appropriate!!   :D

I'm all excited over tonight's broadcast of Dicken's LITTLE DORRIT on Masterpiece Theatre. This continues my latest project to watch all of Dickens available on DVD. I wish I had the time to read all of the novels but I think watching them will be most informative.

Busy day on the CastRecl list. . .
I have never found a musical's book to be "creaky;" it's usually the director having no clue how to do the show properly.

OK, despite all odds, it may have finally happened.  I have a piece of Frances trivia that I never knew, and which may actually interest most/all of you!  :) :) :)  (Even BK).  :)

Some guy who is writing the first authorized biography of latin jazz legend Cal Tjader just emailed me.  Are you ready for this?  Cal was one of the cadets in Frances' first film TOO MANY PARENTS.  I am floored, not the least because with my love of latin music I have loved Cal's stuff for most of my life.

Still on page four after four o'clock, left-coast time?  Most unseemly.
