I have been hit by the "tightening of the credit markets" that we've been hearing about in the news.  The credit limit on one of my major cards has been cut in half, even though I've never come close to reaching said limit and pay my balance in full each month.  The customer "service" chickie to whom I just spoke, said "Well, if you don't use that much credit, why have it?"  I said, "That doesn't mean I won't NEVER need it."  Then, she said, "Well, you can always request an increase if you need it."

No wonder the economy is such a mess.

re: tonight's AMERICAN IDOL

I'm sure at least one of the eliminations will be a surprise. Which is why the judges definitely should not have used the save last week. I would be okay with anoop going. Matt too. The only person i really do not want to go is adam.  I will be sad though if allison has to go. I think the numbers this week are too close to call!

I'll be working on A PLUMM SUMMER unless something more pressing arrives in the mail before I start work around 1 p.m. It doesn't come out until May 5th, so there's time to attend to it.

Yes, I was very surprised by the close voting results on IDOL. I thought last night's show easily showed the strengths of the best as opposed to the weaknesses of the worst. The four best singers are Adam, Danny, Kris, and Allison. That means Lil, Matt, and Anoop should be in the bottom three, but with votes that close, anything can happen.

bk, I have a strong suspicion that the PINK lady is a beginning jogger, like myself.  Most of the reading I've done suggests that beginning joggers ease into it by running for a short stint and then walking, in regular intervals.  In fact, most writers suggest taking as much as 3 months to work up to running for a full 30 minutes or more.  At least, that is what I'm doing.  [   But my training watch beeps at the appropriate times to alert me, so I don't have to keep stopping to look at it.

Exactly correct.  It's a much-prescribed approach, especially recommended for folks new to jogging.

As for the PINK across the seat of her shorts, perhaps she's a huge fan of "Funny Face"!

She actually made BK "Think PINK", now didn't she!      ;D

bk - The women jogger is doing what DRs DAW and Ron Pullliam said she was doing - otherwise, known as interval training. -Which is even a good thing to do once you're into a comfortable jogging/running routine - run 1 mile at a fast pace, 1/2-mile at a medium pace, 1 mile back at a fast pace, etc...

bk - As for the "PINK" sweatpants, those are from Victoria's Secret.  -At least that's one of the tamer things that have been emblazoned on someone's bootay.
