However, I don't know if the arms in the photo are the arms of the actors who will actually be playing Romeo and Juliet.  I would assume that they are, but I haven't specifically heard...yet.

George, I certainly hope you will investigate this question.

Back from my haircut and errands.  When Richard gets back from his honor guard duties (military funeral), we'll go to Bath & Body Works and Barnes & Noble for some more items for the Japanese Cherry Blossom gift basket I'm creating for a silent auction.

Hey! I got a hair cut today too!.   Yesterday I saw an ad  for Bobbi Brown cosmetics  and it reminded me of our make-overs (DRs Danise, Jane, Ginny and Me) in New York.  It would be fun to do that again.

I need to do that this weekend, too; but I am being lazy.  The hair cut that is; it is too late for a make-over.

That was fun.  I still have a couple of the products left.  I remember how shiny we all looked afterward ;D

I had the most delicious Chicken Saag at the Indian place today. And they have a new, very handsome staff person who just started. He is a friend of one of the owners. He could be a movie star with his looks.

And I finished watching this Bollywood movie this morning, AKSAR (2006) starring Dino Morea, Emraan Hashmi, and Udita Goswami.

It was about a man who hires a womanizing photog to romance his wife so that she will give him a divorce.

It had this fantastic dance number: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pab2_NPLKQM

I lunched with Bea Arthur (and a few others) once and found her delightfully delightful.

I ordered new glasses yesterday.  I'll be able to get them in a week to 10 days.  My doctor told me many interesting things including that I would be a perfect candidate for lasik surgery - (something I've never been interested in) but he told me that because I'm near sighted, if I had the surgery I could see far away, but would lose my close up vision and would have to wear reading glasses.  He suggested I never do it, and I agree

Back from the Hollywood Show (as it's now called) - pretty crowded, but one of the most lacklustre gatherings I've ever seen there.  The crowds were there for one reason and one reason only - the cast of Back To The Future and sequels, including Lea Thompson and Christopher Lloyd - I think they've only done this once before and certainly not in LA.  The lines were out the door and four thick.  They may as well have called it a Back To The Future convention - there were at least eight dealers who were ONLY selling BTTF stuff.   I can't even remember who I saw there - Richard Erdman, Warren Berlinger, Gil Gerard, Linda Harrison, George Kennedy (looking SO old), Johnny Whitaker, and that's about it for people I knew.  Shocking, really - but as long as they pull off a BTTF sort of deal, they'll be fine.  It also seems that there have been more dealers there for the last couple of shows, a good thing.

In an hour I'll be having an early supper, then relaxing, then listening to the House Of Flowers master, then going to the Totally Hidden Video reunion partay.

Very, very warm here this afternoon. My downstairs is still cool enough to do without air conditioning, but without the fan running upstairs, it'd be miserable up here.

I watched GHOST WHISPERER while I ate lunch. Not the greatest episode (the one about a soap opera filming in Grandview), but the last five minutes of the show effectvely put a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye.

Then I watched X-MEN. I hadn't seen this in four or five years, so I had forgotten great portions of it. Very entertaining and a wonderful metaphor for homophobia contained in the movie.

I was disappointed to see that I only have the one disc version of X-MEN, and there are only a few bonus features on this edition. I'll watch them tonight, but it's not going to give me a major leg up on the review of the Blu-ray set I thought it would.

My two disc X2: X-Men United does have the full quota of bonus features. I'll likely spend tomorrow working with it.

Heading back downstairs for more action with the mutants of X-Men. Then to some bonus features and will likely top off the night with an hour of television from earlier in the week: either SMALLVILLE or FLASHPOINT.

I'm now off to work concessions at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts.  This weekend (yesterday and today) in Olympia is ArtsWalk, where a lot happens. ;) The WCPA has its doors open with performers on both stages and art displayed throughout the theater.  It's a big, fun celebration that ends with the Procession of the Species, where "costumed humans representing nature will process through downtown."

Have a good day, all!
