DR Elmore (and anyone else interested), Target has LITTLE DORRIT for just $29.99!  Cheaper than Amazon.

Aww. TCB, I am so sorry about Angel. She was so beautiful. You were fortunate to have had each other for so long.

DR Dan(theMan), thank you! I haven't ordered it yet, but I'm hoping tomorrow when I awake, there will be funds in my bank account! I haven't heard from Nursie how she liked the conclusion this last weekend.

Last night I finished OUR MUTUAL FRIEND, and it's truly wonderful. I enjoyed it as much his time as I had when I saw it on Masterpiece Theatre about 10 years ago.

The world's nearly worst director. It cannot be as inept as his CAMELOT, I hope.

He shoulda stayed an actor. He was the only good thing in the original MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG.

Time to go home for a bit, get a bite to eat, then go to my first rehearsal!

Until later!

DR Jennifer....we're probably the only ones watching Celebrity Apprentice but....

I think Annie is a snake. I think she gets a kick out of being manipulative and then plays the sweet girl. Blech!  I do not like people like that.  I think Joan takes it too far, but I was really glad to see her leave with Melissa. I think it's only part drama. I think it's also that she sees no reason to treat people the way Annie does is a game show that's supposed to be about raising money for charity. I don't like Jesse James, he was just plain rude to Clint Black for no good reason, and as arrogant as Clint is, I'm starting to like him, lol. Brandi is being played, but I don't think she's mean at all. She may be smarter than people are giving her credit for.  She's still there and stood up for herself, so we'll see what happens.

Elmore, what is going to happen to all that stuff in McGlinn's place?

The will requests it go to the Library of Congress. Whatever they don't want goes to William Hicks, and whatever he doesn't want I am welcome to. I would love to take most of the orchestra scores - but I haven't the space - and I believe that a lot of it needs to be sold to help the executor cover the costs of a bankrupt estate. The executor has put out about $10,000 of his own money paying for storage space, movers, back rent, attorney, paralegal, and I feel a need to see him reimbursed.

Much as I wanted to take his piano today and have the movers cart it over here, I felt I didn't need it but we might fetch $500 for the estate from it.

The first things to be done are to sort the contents and return to rightful owners anything that McGlinn "borrowed" and never returned. Then we decide whta goes to the LoC, what gets sold and contribute what's left. I think Manhattan School of music's library might like a lot of it.  We'll saee.

A sprig of catnip came up in the rocks, which I left alone. I am curious to see if it will grow in full sun here. You'd think rolling on the rocks like that would hurt, but I guess if one is high...

Good Evening!

...If I started describing all my favorite and most memorable moments from today's Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Easter Bonnet Competition, well, I truly would go on and on and on.  I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I cried some more, I laughed some more.  I ran into old friends.  I ran into new friends.  Most importantly, for the first time in a long time, I felt like a part of the Broadway Community.  Again.

Inspired and Thankful.
