Now I find myself in the awkward position of, once again, telling poor BK that I cannot make any promises about Page 8.

Ron, I made a point of hitting the re-load button several times before posting, so as not to interrupt your song.

George, thank you for the VIBES on my washing machine, but they didn't work. Or maybe they did, depending on your point of view. The repair man gave me a quote of $479.00 to fix it...sheesh! Naturally, I could buy a new one for that. Mark and I are convinced that he worked the numbers specifically so I'd have to buy a new one. It probably was not the best idea to have Sears come out for the repair. Maybe I should have gotten a second opinion, but the hamper is very full now, so we picked out a new washer yesterday. With tax, delivery, hall-away-the-old fee, discounts, rebates, and coupons, the grand total came to $459.00. Sounds fishy to me. Anyway, it's being delivered tomorrow, but I doubt it will be nearly as much fun or gratifying as Bruce's new television.

I got to watch the Survivor finale but only up until they announced the winner.

I did not get to watch the Desperate Housewives finale yet. So i'm just trying not to read/hear about what happened. I won't get to watch the Medium finale. Or One Tree hill finale, or gossip girl finale for a few days.

I'm hoping my niece will watch DWTS with me. Although when i asked her if she'd watch it she said, "no thanks"

Sweet Cody.  My deepest condolences.  It hurts too much when we loose our pets.  Hugs.

*I shall save my Wil Wheaton story for another day.

It always bothered me he didn't go to the academy.  I thought they could have done much with that in future episodes, during school breaks.  Instead he ascended or whatever that was.  I just didn't care for that

I'm X's home opener (The Explorer's - our baseball team) . I had a lot of fun last year, my first game was their last game of the season.  It's a whopping $14 for the box seats.  I may do that or go for the reserved seats a little higher up for $12.  What a deal

I've been cutting flowers in the yard and bringing them in the house.  It's so wonderful to have fresh cut flowers to look at. They brighten up the room a lot

OH, Edith told me that her neighbor has 30...count them 30 rhubarb plants and he told them they could have all of it they want to have!  I took her the strawberry rhubarb bars today and she said she'll bring me a whole bunch of it tomorrow.   I hear it's very easy to freeze, so that's my plan.

I must speak up as the one Trekker--not Trekkie, please!--in the crowd.  I have seen every Star Trek episode and film, and although I am the first one to criticize their flaws, I love them all.

I adore Kate Mulgrew, and have played the album of her as Katharine Hepburn numerous times.

And yes, I even was Mr. Spock at a University of Wisconsin gathering back in the 60's, ears and all.

So there.  Pfffft!

How fun.  I would liked to have gone to one of the early conventions.

I enjoyed Kate Mulgrew as the captain.  Keith often complained.

I watched all four seasons of ENTERPIRSE, but really only the first two seasons were really good. Then they started having these long story arcs that were dull, and then only the actors like Scott Bakula and Connor Trineer kept me coming back on a weekly basis.

It was also a BEAUTIFUL series to watch in high definition. I got my first HD set during the show's original run, and it and CSI were the two shows I must looked forward to each week to watch in HD.

We couldn't watch the series when it first aired as our local station was simply too fuzzy.  When we watch on hi-definition we thoroughly enjoyed the show & were sad it hadn't lasted longer.
