TCB, did the rest of Millvina's family survive?

No, I should say that her father died that night.

I love the movie MIDNIGHT.....although it doesn't quite....QUITE.....reach the delirious heights of PALM BEACH STORY.....only one other comedy of its type from the 1930's always makes me laugh - in the right spots....and that is DESIRE with Gary Cooper and Marlene Dietrich.

Of course having Mary Astor always helps...love her lines/delivery/reactions in PALM BEACH STORY - "Buy that hat, dear, it makes you look as if you have a chin......"

This is still not as shocking to me as a Sherlock Holmes without a deerstalker.

I think I will use the choreography from DR MBARNUM's clip in my upcoming production of MAN OF LA MANCHA.

Well, if they're Roman Catholic, the Priest; if Episcopalian, the altar boys.

Decided to load up the car for Out of the Closet.  Will have to make 2 maybe 3 trips this week.  They should have made/will make at least several thousand dollars with all the stuff I've taken over since starting the packing/moving last November.

Also listened to  That Man From Rio  and  Anya  and  Scent of Mystery.

Rob, Mary Linda, and their friend John just left after moving several pieces of furniture for us.  Richard supervised and I followed them around with the vacuum cleaner.  Now, if we can just find a couple of pieces (2 chairs, or a chair and a loveseat) to go with the couch we inherited from my mother-in-law, we'll have a whole new "look" in the living room.

Glad to know that you are okay.  I have been worried.  And Francois was asking about you yesterday.

The Vixter certainly deserves a nomination as "Daughter of the Year."

Fridat and Saturday the Vixter was in Pennsylvania with her school chorus.  They performed in a competiton and took four prizes (although the Vixter was apparently so umimpressed with the prizes that she could not tell me what they were)

After the competition they went swimming in the hotel pool and then had a dance party with DJ in one of the hotel ballrooms - Saturday they spent at Hershey Park

A wonderful time was had by all

Sorry - it has just been so very busy at work and my boss and co-workers had been so good about all the time I was off that I simply feel that I have to be there now when they are all working 12 - 14 hour days  (I am not staying quite that long  I can only manage 10 -11 hours)
but then when I get home I am just too tired to do anything
