Well, you've read the notes, the notes made a difference, and now it is time for you to post until the different cows come home.

And the word of the day is: SOREDEMO.  Our first Japanese word of the day.  Points for anyone who translates.

The story about the guy who dressed up as his late mother for fraud purposes is now being referred to on CNN as similar to TOOTSIE, rather than the similarity to PSYCHO being talked about yesterday - TOOTSIE is a better analogy, i think, since for the real-life guy it was all about money concerns.

Thursday morning greetings!  I'm getting ready to host my book group tonight and Richard is getting ready to sing with the shape-noters.

Good morning, all! I'm off to Park Avenue and the McGlinnventory: the story of the rest of my life, I fear.

When I get back today, I have to clean this dump and put some things away. Then, back to Moross.

TOD: chewing my nails.

Oh, and yesterday's menu was:
two-colored gazpacho with tomato tartar and pesto
chicken breast or skatefish
white and dark chocolate checkerboard cheescake with raspberry coulis.

Atlas Obscura - A compendium of the world's wonders, curiosities, and esoterica. :)

I'd say HHW does a pretty good job, too.

DR Jose, re: your comments yesterday on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.

I have never seen Mary Jane's alter ego before, and i've been watching for a while. I mean obviously i've heard her mentioned many times through the years. I wonder if it's been like 20 years since she was last on.

I really find her creepy to watch and wonder what she's planning to do. At first i thought she would kidnap sharon's baby. Then i thought maybe little summer. Although on today's US show (we get it a day before here) she made a much more interesting proclamation which may make me like her!

Good morning!

It was overcast when I got up, but not especially as cool as overcast skies often means. The clouds are clearing away now, and it's getting sunny and warmer on the way to a high of 90!

Argh!

Just made my SHOW GIRL purchase, and I have to say the new Kritzerland is a pleasure to use. Congrats on the reboot of that site!

It has been a busy morning right across the street from my open office window. Two different families are moving out of the condo complex over there, so the street has two huge moving vans there and a lot of activity. I head one box fall off the van's lifting crane and heard definite breakage. I felt so bad for that person who just lost something. I hope it wasn't priceless.

Yes, bk, THE FUGITIVE was an early Warner Blu-ray and has always gotten below average score in reviews. I never bothered to upgrade my DVD since I don't watch the film all that often.

BONNIE AND CLYDE, on the other hand, looks the best it's ever looked to me on the Blu-ray transfer.

My work project today is the Fox Blu-ray of PREDATOR 2. I've never seen the film before, but I did see the original, so I suspect I've got a bloody violent experience ahead of me later today when I start on it.

There are a good number of bonuses on the disc, too: two commentaries and a bunch of featurettes. So it looks like this disc is going to take up a major portion of my day today.
