My first question for ASK BK day.....since I enjoyed the notes so much. When you are a guest star on a program such as DONNY AND MARIE....is there a formal introduction session.....such as Mr Lynde...Bruce Kimmel, Bruce Kimmel....Mr Paul Lynde.... Or does everyone just jump in and start working together. How were you introduced to Mr Lynde and what were some of his comments during the production that you found amusing?
Ask BK Day:How was Marc Kudisch to work with (BELLS ARE RINGING revival recording)? Do you have any memorable stories about working on that project?

Do you have any memorable stories about working on that project?Marc was fine - that whole album was easy/breezy and fun. He was very professional and took notes about studio performance. The only things I remember about the session are the headphone story I told the other day, plus the producers not having hammered out their deal with Don Sebeskey, so there was that drama at the beginning of the session - I smoothed it out, as I recall, and we proceeded. They actually weren't going to let Don into the booth at all, but it all worked out in about ten minutes. Faith Prince is always fun to work with - it was my third cast album with her. And I really liked all the supporting people and knew several of them from other projects. But the most fun was having Betty and Adolph there for a while. I had nice chats with them throughout the session.
-And Thanks for posting that WSS info. I had heard about the photo shoot before, but I had no idea about the trash cans. *And there were some other great tidbits of information on that page too!
So... The Governor of South Carolina was in Argentina? (not Appalachia).
For Ask BK Day...Which recording sessions of which classic - or non-classic - musical would you have liked to sit in on?
On the celebrity search front, we've tracked down David Garrison, Teresa Stratas, and Frederica von Stada this morning. Roberta Peters is the only singer to work with John McGlinn we cannot locate.
