We watched the Cronkite tribute, too.  Very well done.

It was DR TCB who let the cat out of the bag......via Wikipedia....where Parla & Co were  talking about it.

I thought you would be interested.  I didn't know I was saying something that I shouldn't.

McCourt, who I worked with when I recorded The Irish... And How They Got That Way, was a really nice man.

Nice to know.

I find it rather surprising & scary that a man who grew up in so much rain had melanoma.

I was just going to ask if anyone knows how long it is.  Our DVR doesn't have a listing for the special so I set the regularly scheduled show to record from 6:00 to 7:00.  The CBS website only has the special from 7:00 to 8:00.  I can't seem to find shows beginning at 6:00 on their site.

Yesterday the pair of cardinals that live near my house were all in a tizzy. They are noisy birds when they are upset.  I finally went out to see what the problem was and my neighbor's cat was hiding in the flowers.. So I chased her home.  Then I had to do that 3 more times.   I think the cardinals must have little ones.  They are quiet today. I chased the cat home once more today.  She is wearing a bell, and I haven't noticed any of the regular birds missing, so I'm assuming it's all ok

Here, the Cronkite special was on in the regular 60 Minutes time slot.

How many years has June Kenney been missing?

Since about 1963. That is about when she ended her acting career, although she kept her SAG membership up until about 1982.

Oh, really?

60 minutes is on at 7:00 PM here.  I have set both the 6:00 show & 60 MINUTES to record, just to be on the safe side.

I check in a little bit to see what is recording.

John's youngest daughter just posted on FB that the EEG and CAT scan revealed no seizures or brain bleeds, but he's semi-comatose.  So we wait...

And you can tell ME where the HELL are der Brucer and S. Woody White - I'm getting quite annoyed with them.

Woody has come down with the flu and I am pretending to be a nurse - if he doesn't eat something, I may take to force feeding. He is still recoverring from the present a dog left him the other day - one dead bunny on the couch.

Oh-oh - I hear the dead arising - time to do a food-temptation spell.
