BUT I NEVER OWNED A LEISURE SUIT

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were leisurely, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - which they're obviously doing leisurely.

Well, I couldn't stop watching until I finished the final episode of season two - and I'm just a little surprised that our Lost fanatics here didn't see the connection between BK and the final episode - and it's a really REALLY obvious one, so skammen.  All you twist lovers, and surprise lovers, and no one noticed that some writer on this show has to be a fan of a little motion picture called The Creature Wasn't Nice aka Spaceship aka Naked Space - and let me tell you, it is no coincidence, since all the writers on this show would have come of age watching cable in the mid-1980s when our little movie was running all the time.  Now, who can tell me the connection?  C'mon, o you Lost experts.  It should especially be obvious to those who have been regulars on this here site and who've known its various and sundried denizens, both old and new.  We await.

Last night 3/4's of the way through rehearsal, everyone went crazy and acted as though they had never had a rehearsal of the material.

It was most frustrating and horrible.  And everyone stopped and looked at me like I should know what they were doing or for confirmation that the WRONG thing they were doing was right.

The pit was awful, the sound was bad.....

It was the worst rehearsal I have ever conducted.  Then the missed entrances started.....

I have to go at 9 am to set the lights - drive for 45 minutes....so I am not coming home until after rehearsal, so I will be at the theatre all day.

Most depressing.  If I ever say here that I want to direct another musical, please tell me that I don't.

I, also, do not know from Lost. I have not seen any more than a short preview while channel surfing.

Nor do I know from Facebook (even though the estimable Charles Pogue has taken the plunge) or My Space or Linked In or Twitter or any other social media network (other than this blog).

And speaking of applesauce...

Natural [no-sugar] applesauce makes a great substitute for syrup on pancakes, I have found!      :)

TOD:

I did own a leisure suit.  And that is the closest I will get to ever being trendy.

Yes, they do have a unique sound. It's not a bark and you'll remember it after you hear it.

I know that if I am ever considered trendy then there is something wrong in the world. I am anti-trendy.

I was never into clothing fads, though I did have a rock 'n roll jacket back in junior high school.

I think I wore it once, then was too embarrassed to wear it again.

I'm strictly a jeans & t-shirt guy.  Wear a tie only for a VERY special occasion.

My t-shirts, however, often make statements (e.g. "Theatre is Life.  Film is Art.  Television is Furniture.")
