MR. DINTHER HELMUT AND THE SEVEN MILLION POUNDS

Well, you've read the notes, the notes felt like seven million pounds, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently sending a response to Mr. Dinther Helmut saying "Show me the MOOney."

We had storms and flooding yesterday....pictures to follow.  Most distressing.  But now all seems fine, unless it storms again.

Good morning, gentle Dear Readers.

On the docket for today is a boat ride to see [I hope] many dolphins, and lunch out at a restaurant.

Morning beach run accomplished.  Zach was blessed by a nun.  [It's a long story].      :)

If the facts are against you, pound on the law!
If the law is against you, pound on the facts!
If both the facts and the law are against you, pound on the table!

And that concludes my dissertation on the word "pound"

In French  (almost a Gypsy reference)

Oy!  Scary flooding pics from DR JRand!

We had an incredible rainstorm on Friday and while my neighborhood is elevated and would never flood, I did have to drive through some deep-ish waters on the way home.  No damage to my car but I hate doing that.

Good Morning!

Another day in the 90s. It's already very humid outside and the temperature is climbing rapidly.

Dinther's brother sent me 2 million pounds a couple of years ago.  I hoped it was money, but it was 2 million pounds of lint.  It's been in the alley ever since.

They wanted to ship me a brand new Mercedes from England. For free.  I only had to pay the shipping and dock charges.  I politely declined and suggested they just get me one that was already here.

Is Oregon still unbearably hot, or has that passed?
