DR Ginny, it sounds as if having all those people there met some of yours & Richards needs to.

Half the time? Most of the time.

If it's for work, you can deduct it from your taxes!  Can't you?

I swear, NO MORE BAD NEWS!!  Two of my hiking friends just received positive test results.  Positive sounds like it should be a good thing and negative should be bad, in these cases if only it were true.

Speaking of friends, I uploaded five-count 'em-five video clips onto facebook earlier today.  Facebook friends feel free to check them out. . .

I can't open them, same problem I had with DR Laura's video. :(

I can't open them at work, but I can at home.  We don't have the latest flash player on our work computers, even though we are on Vista. :P

Just listened to the new upcoming (announced in two weeks) release - what fun!  I really didn't know how it would turn out - I had the original scoring sessions, which I arranged in cue order, but with all the slates and pauses I didn't know how it would flow.  I edited lots of the shorter tracks together, keeping everything in cue order.  Half the music didn't make it into the film, but as an album it's now really fun.  I ended up doing only one thing to it after hearing it - I'd used the original main title, but there was also an "alternate" main title and a "revised" main title.  None of them are in the film as recorded, but they used bits of the "revised main title" and so I decided to use that one, but in the complete form it was written in.  The other two are included as bonus tracks.  Other than that, and tightening up one space, it was really excellent.  Just under forty minutes long - this music has never had any sort of release before.

One of the nicest gestures tonight was from the sisters of John's first wife.  They set up in the downstairs lounge with meat & cheese trays, a fruit tray, a veggie tray, cookies and brownies, and beverages for family members.  It was nice to have a respite.

Edith closed on her new house today.  She's taking next week off to move. That means I'll be working on my Spanish, lol

That really is very nice and a wonderful way to support their nieces (2-yes?)

Yes, John's 2 older daughters are their nieces.  They, along with John's first wife, looked after the 2 grandsons so their mother (oldest daughter, Rev. Amy) could be upstairs greeting people.
